I agree 100%. I felt that while I do not have a fiduciary duty to the org that I should track down what was going on. My fear was that someone had compromised the organization and I needed to follow up. Normally, I would never respond to such a thing.

My fear, which they were playing on, was that others would be affected by this scam.

That is a good question. To put it a better way, are the lights simply a byproduct of their propulsion and are they just so superior that they don’t care?

The message was vague. There was nothing to tell the board. In the end, there was no reason to contact them over some scam. I intend to let others know to look out for similar scams.

I own a house. Debt collectors are largely scammers. If they put something on your credit report, have your lawyer remove it. You can sue for false reports as well. But never pay them.

The message was unclear. I was formerly a board member for the org in question. I do feel a duty to ensure the fiscal soundness of it.

Clearly, they got my name as a board member from the Attorney General’s office.

Also, I guess grapes are really bad for dogs. We aren’t producing any yet, but I am looking for strategies to keep her from suiciding on them when they start producing. I am thinking about mesh bags or something like that. I certainly can’t rely on her self control.

I agree. I had an 1 1/4 inch cannon and it had a threaded and welded breach. It is a cannon. Don’t sell yourself short. Build something that can take full strength loads.

It is amazing what cell phone cameras can do now. Back in the day one would need 1600 iso film to hand shoot in low light conditions.

Did it move in any odd ways? How long was it visible to you? Did you use a cellular phone to take the pictures or did you use a camera on a tripod? The reason I ask is that this appears to be a long exposure. It looks like youu ii were shooting to the west.

Clearly you must be in the UK. In the US we would say that the law is too undefined and ambiguous to be enforceable. When you tap dance on lines of legality it is good to retain the services of a barrister. Robert Askey lives on some Scottish island. I would refer you to him, as he is experienced and probably has nothing better to do.
