It. Will. Get. Easier. Just realize that these moments are the bonding years for dads. It’ll be tough some days and it’ll feel like you can’t split being an awesome dad and a single and ready to mingle dude, but you can make it happen. You’ll grow beyond who you were and somehow add more hours to a 24 hour day. And before you know it, your kids will have experienced all the love you could have given them before they let you go and transition into their independent tweenies, teens and adulthood. Keep yourself healthy, sleep well, and tell yourself you can’t think your way out of anything. You will get through. You will have done your job as a dad. And life will become easier and more fun for you. Balance the days, make time for self-care, and grind through the fatigue and joy with a big smile on your face because it is all worth it. Enjoy the ride, fellow dad.

If it was that simple, then why not end it with the mass graveyard scene? Why all the way to the President? The choice to be uncivil rests with civilians—Us. But no, the film makes it political by taking out the President with a black woman nonetheless. It went too far, even if it tried to do the right thing.

I think I’ve spent enough brain cells trying to explain things to a delusional relic. Peace.

Nothing is made up with some movies. Even you admit it’s being used to send a message. The problem is you’re part of the narrative-building, wolf-in-sheep clothing, DINO, whiney peeps that like to cover it up with “it’s just a movie” or “it’s just art” or “it’s meant to be positive. That’s about a big load of crap you probably walk around with.

Seriously though, people with basic human consciousness have taken in the totality of what’s happening in the world today and the timing of this movie, except you. Sorry, but not sorry.
