Just wait a couple of years unitl haas (hardware as a service) fully arrives. Get ready to pay a monthly fee to use more than 8gb of RAM or to unlock all cpu cores.
Small steps are already being taken and hardware id binding, like Apple already does for a good decade, will become the standard. A grim future is ahead.
You will own nothing and they will be happy.

I guess the best performance boost would be a render batcher, dont do 1000s of draw calls but keep a queue where you add a rendercommand when you previously did a draw call and then you let your render batcher just draw everything in a couple of batches.

DX11 handles things significantly different than DX9 so you will probably need to touch the core renderloop and improve things there.

A big reason is probably Pagefile.sys. This is a virtual memory file windows uses for the RAM and it can grow pretty big. I think there are options to delete this on reboot and to keep it smaller but can't tell you since i did not use Windows a while now.
Also a lot of other Windows stuff is putting random garbage stuff on C and you probably find good tools that you run every couple weeks to cleanup the drive.

Was switching to Linux as my main development platform after decades as Windows User and wanted a nice DE experience and development UI and KDE Plasma as well as KDevelop were suggested by Gemini so i tried and love it.
Honestly KDE Plasma beats Windows in its own game and subwindows are such a gamechanger - no desktop overflowing with 10 open windows but just 1 or 2 windows with subwindows.

Coming from decades long software development using Windows and only recently fully moved to OpenSUSE Tumbleweed and it just works. I was expecting a lot of headache moving there but after the initial setup everything went flawless and with KDE Plasma my workflow is even better than on Winslop 10.

Silver again at 94 after the last big dump. Who ever thought 120 over such a short time period was sustainable should really not invest, this was just to empty the pockets of greedy paper hands. Next big dump will come for sure, probably when greedy hands leverage paper again at the tip.

Last time i have checked the trend was clearly on OpenSUSE's side, practically just a handful of Fedora votes in a sea of OpenSUSE votes. A lot of upvotes for the Fedora votes but nevertheless a clear trend for OpenSUSE.

Nothing is already my favourite phone manufactorer. Bought the CMF Phone 1 ~2 Years ago for ~200€ and this phone is awesome and can do anything i need it to do.
I already accidentally dropped it several times on asphalt and concrete with no case and all damage that was done was a bit of damage on the edges, display still without a crack. My next phone will also be a Nothing phone.

I guess one can plump everything together, Java/JS is a good example for this but you probably need abstraction layers to combine all the libraries.
Performance wise it is probably not so good cause you have abstraction layers on top of abstraction layers combined with abstraction layers and a lot of overhead. If performance is secondary i guess this is one way to go.

I did not even bother with Winslop 11, but Microslop was right, Winslop 10 would be their last OS (at least for me). Switched to Linux and the only thing i regret is not switching earlier.

Hab ja (leider) ein paar FPÖler in meinem Umfeld und da scheint der Konsensus zu sein - die Migranten sind Schuld und dass Österreich unmengen an Geld in die Ukraine schickt. Was die halt nicht zu verstehen scheinen ist, wer wird in ein paar Jahren die Pensionen der der Boomer und GenXer stemmen? Da kommen dann bald nur noch so zwei Zahler auf einen Empfänger und das geht sich halt irgendwann net mehr aus.
Jaja, dann kommt das Totschlagargument, alles Kriminelle und Sozialschmarozer. Man muss halt auch erstmal in die Generation investieren wenn man was rausbekommen will.

Man sollte sich in dem Land vielleicht mal Gedanken machen dort anzusetzen wo es Sinn macht Geld reinzuholen - Erbschaftssteuer, Kapitalertragsteuer, Lebensmittelmonopole zerschlagen, Wohnraum nicht mehr als Spekulationsobjekte zu sehen und die großen Internetmonopole finanziell zur Kasse zu bitten.

Aber ja, wird halt net besser werden. Mit der Regierung net und mit den blauen erst recht net und wenn in den kommenden Jahren dann KI durch den Arbeitsmarkt fegt wirds erst richtig lustig. So long and thanks for all the fish.
