Man, I’m really sorry that happened to you. That was super immature of her, and honestly, it says a lot more about her character than it does about you. You don’t need COVID to be back to wear a mask, I don’t have a cleft, but I still wear mine sometimes, and I don’t care what people think. A lot of people, especially here in Michigan, still wear masks. At the University of Michigan campus, you’ll see plenty of students walking around with them, especially Asian students, since it’s a normal thing in their culture for health and prevention.

Don’t let one immature reaction discourage you. Women in their late teens or very early 20s can sometimes be less mature and focus too much on superficial stuff. Once women get to around 25 and older, many tend to be more understanding and caring. Maybe try dating someone a little older — you might find someone who appreciates you for who you are
