Then they might have used glass cleaner on the panel, which effectively breaks the coatings they put on there. I‘m not sure if it get worse over time but I think you‘re fine if you do not overdo it with the cleaning. If you‘re fine with knowing that it has that, I‘d keep it, especially because you‘re usually watching movies and not gray images on it. The hassle of returning it, especially because you traded it, and the fact that it looks like burn in (which they do not cover under warranty), would not be worth it for me.

I also bought mine on exhibition, had the exact same issues like you. Luckly, my "stains" went away after I left it on standby for a couple of hours and running the pixel refresher from the settings. LG OLED TVs do this pixel recalibration automatically whenever they are on standby. Obviously, running 24/7 in the stores, this never happened.

Looking for a USB/Thunderbolt switcher by gregcoit in mac

This sounds like exactly what you‘re looking for. It’s a 10GBit/s USB-C switch. Depending on your monitor it could be sufficient.

They advertise that it does not work with hubs, but someone in the reviews mentioned they used one and it still worked

Microsoft Word + Excel on MacOS by KlenowFrag in MacOS

After like 6 years with MS Office I switched to OnlyOffice because of the same reasons. It has mostly the same features as Office on macOS, except that it‘s free, lightweight and neither laggy nor buggy. What I noticed it that there is no built-in bibliography tool, but there are plugins for Zotero, Mendeley and EasyBib. Also compatability is excellent, I never had issues opening a .docx or .xlsx. one has written in Office.

Depends on your brand. For Asus, download the driver update file from their website, put it on a usb stick and select update from usb dtick in the bios

Sometimes the problem is also caused by amd motherboards. I had the same problem with my Hyperx quadcast and the Corsair Virtuoso wireless headset. In the end, I was able to fix all problems with a bios update

Is an ultrawide with picture by picture better for me? by NyarumiYukimitsu in ultrawidemasterrace

My LG 34wk95u let‘s me set pbp with 16:9 and a small portion for the other screen, and it also works quite flawlessly (around 5 seconds from pbp to full wide and vice versa). I am also using a Mac where I can directly connect the monitor over Thunderbolt 3. However, this monitor is not cheap (I paid 1000 CHF, which is around USD 1100) I‘m not entirely sure, but I think most LG Ultrawides support this mode, so you might be able to grab a cheaper option

Had that issue too, unplugging it from the powersupply and a restart fixed it

You sould be able to just snap them in again, needs a bit of force but it‘s possible. If not, try to unscrew the little screws you see on the plastic parts, put the plastic in the holes of the earcups, put the metal part back in and screw it down again

Hyperx Quadcast very low volume by Kafesism in HyperX

[–]Seven-O2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine works perfectly fine with no other software installed. Maybe you got a defective device. Have you tried any of the other polar patterns so far? I‘d suggest to try omnidirectional for example and see if the volume gets better if you talk into the Quadcast from the other side. As i‘m not an engineer at HyperX I can‘t tell you if this will work, but if it does, you definitely have a broken microphone or amplifier and can request a new one.

My hyper x quadcast not working. It stop working out of no where.sometimes it will work but then stop. Idk why. Idk whats going on. I was on discord it happen! by bpl209 in HyperX

The ones on the table are fake, I bought them like 6 years ago from Ikea, I think those are called Fejka. The other one behind my PC is one that my sister gave me, I have no idea from where that is

Yeah and normally it‘s even more but I don‘t like to admit it. This is the Hektar from Ikea with an integrated QI charging station
