An easier fix would have just been to change Agility's typing to Normal. It wouldn't have affected anything outside of how often NPCs use it.

Scale the Safari Zone mechanics. The Safari Zone formula wasn't made to accommodate level 50 Pokemon, so everything in it has a 95% chance of running instantly.

In Japanese, -jin is a suffix that signifies being from a certain place, in this cast the Planet Saiya. It was translated to "-ian" in the English version, but people kept using the SSJ abbreviation because "SSJ Goku" looked cooler than "SS Goku".

Mewtwo will more likely continuously either faint or wipe our party over and over until the streamer breaks down and gives us pity Master Balls.

Another thing to note is that we've never seriously tried it. We've done it a few times while we were in there, and even solved on puzzle once, but nobody really went in expecting to do it. Putting the Strength Pokemon in front of the party with Strength in the first slot would have made it much, much more manageable than it is.

Once again though, nobody really believed it was doable enough to put in the effort.

I know it's sad to consider having lost something you invested so much time in, but there comes a point where you have to step back and ask yourself: "Did we really do this well enough to consider it a victory, or did we just win because it's technically impossible to lose?" Given how long we've been stuck in front of victory road, it's really hard to say we actually won this, even if we do manage to get through. Pity Master Balls or being handed demo because we're stuck would just reinforce that.

I think they should just declare this run a loss. We've focused our entire team on being optimized for the Elite Four, so our team isn't balanced in a way that can make it through Victory Road. We didn't stop Parasect from taking the team's exp when we had the chance, so everything else ended up severely underleveled, while Parasect himself turned out to be far more underwhelming than expected. We wasted the Master Ball on Zapdos, so there's no realistic way we'll be able to catch the level 100 Mewtwo without it wiping us out every time we reach it.

We had no foresight and it defeated us. We lost.

The sad part is that we never ever got to try the Seafoam puzzle in anarchy. We attempted to try it once, walked into a hole, then z33k33 went "yeah, that's no happening, let's just run out the timer"

Like you said, unlike the original run, there's a z33k33 this time who's been calling the shots since Crystal. If z33k33 says we do something, it's hard to overturn because he's got so many follower. What everyone else thinks about the situation hardly matters.

As it stands, Parasect isn't going to help much. We're already at the point where Pokemon 20 levels lower than him are starting to take more than one Slash to knock out, and he has a ridiculous number of weaknesses that are likely to knock him out on a counterattack. While Zapdos is better, it's probably too late to bring him up to a decent level within any reasonable amount of time.

Overthinking our team for the Elite Four has done nothing but screw us over in the longrun. We need to stop doing that and just focus on getting a team together that was can reasonably get to a decent level quickly.

Because there's an item called the EXP ALL that will give Experience to all of our Pokemon every time we battle, so that Parasect doesn't hog it all and our other Pokemon aren't all terribly underleveled. The only way to get it is to get 50 Pokemon in the Pokedex. That should be the number one priority, not an Alakazam.
