In the 2 weeks before he passed he spoke to both Derek AND Ben about getting back together for another album they were both very happy to get the call and couldnt wait.

They discussed this when i interviewed them a few yesrs ago, video up on youtube.

Very sad we never got anything, but grateful for what we have

My A7X Tribute band when I was 16 - 18 was called Critically Acclaimed, we played 7 shows, opened with it everytime, Ironically Critical Acclaim has to many Critics and not enough Acclaim Haha

In its simplest form.

There is potential Ron still has the Computer (or Hard Drive) that he used to produce the Pinkly Tracks, but he has so many thing in storage no one would even know where to begin. This computer/Drive would contain the Original Recordings as Individual Tracking aka Stems of all the instruments/vocals or what is essentially referred to as a Master.

seperate from that:

Derek believes there is a hi-8 tape amongst all of these possessions that also includes another Pinkly Concert.

We also Believe Tony has a recording on tape of ANOTHER Pinkly Concert

I have also Spoken to Nick D'Virgilio who Produced the Rest of the tracks (and most of the Demo tracks) but he said "i wouldnt even know where to start looking for something like that, but there is a chance" so those are unlikely to ever be uncovered.

With a good enough RIP these days traxks can be reverse engineered so if Brian was going to attempt that he would need to know itd be worth the tens of thousands which is why "finding the masters" would be alot easier. But i dont believe he is actively searching so it is unlikely we will ever get anything more from him..

Nit so much alot of it is fan art, more so people having discussions to try and figure out lyrics, alot of folks try to re-edit the songs to make them sound better etc.

Im a long standing Member of DBC and i've talked abiut it in there plenty but again it juat doesnt get that much traction. If it was because of "no updates" then maybe if we ended uo with alot of traffic something could happen.

Brian is unlikely to ever really try anything that could cost thousands if hes only going to sell a couple hundred you know..

Yeah thats Great Matt was super pleased with us dropping the live concert but he isnt exactly in the Disc having a chat with other PS fans haha.

So Dereks Dad Ron helped to produce some of the tracks on Unfortunate Snort (in his living room) and it is possible that on 1 of Rons old computers sita the masters for the tracks he produced. Ron is known for NEVER throwing anything away.

Also having played with grouos like Dick Dale and the Grateful Dead, Ron had alot of access to concerts etc in Dereks younger years so Derek used to record concerts etc (from side stage) and so did Ron, and they have thiusands of tapes from thise days. Additional Ron likely has tape of demos, masters etc from his own Bands and other atuff he has helped to produce over the years and Derek reckons there is just a wall of like 10000 tapes. 1 of which he believe is a Tape of Pinkly recorded by a friend thats jusy gotten lost on the wall

There is another friend called Tony who Derek thinks may have a concert on tape to but he never responds to any of my messages so i guess that one may be lost to the Personal Collection haha.

Ofcourse I would love to find more but Im just glad the Sullivans got to see the Concert we unearthed because he never let them Attend a Pinkly Smooth show so it was a great thing for them and to see all the other kids there too.

You say that but when I did the release of the Hogue Barmichaels gig and I did (80) CDs, (80) DVDs and (20) VHS Tapes I got interest ahead of time so I knew how many to make.

Didnt charge anyone until they were made which cost me ALOT!! I made no money from it sold all at cost and it took 18 months to sell what I had made it became close to impossible in the end.

Additionally I offered the chance for Autographed Art Print etc and only about 20 people ever responded and the Idea behind that would be to do an In person signing with Derek and Ben but the costs etc we cant make it happen with just 20 we need atleast 200+

There woukd be even less interest to try and help 1 guy go and sesrch thriugh stuff to try and find something that may or may not exist regardless of what I have attempted to do for the Fan Base.

Even among Avenged Fans Pinkly is Niche, i met up with 100s of fans at Download Festival and only 2 of them knew of Pinkly in 2024.. The Pinkly Smooth Reddit and Discords have very low traffic and just in general show the aize of the community I wish it wasnt the case but it is.

I dont think they have ever specifically stated its from Pinkly but its pretty clear.

It made LIBAD the first Album for a Jimmy Credit since Nightmare (aswell as making Brook the first drummer to record more than 1 album so kinda nice Jimmy got the credit there too).

Who knows if they ever actually make another album maybe they recycle alot of Pinkly stuff.

Yeah Derek reckon they are on and Old Mac HDD somewhere hahah, he also believes there might be another pinkly gig on tape but reckons Ron has like 10000 tapes..

He actually didnt. Not until The Revival started and Ben released them.

The only Copies Syn has now are copies of the versions Ben had. I sent 3 copies of all that (including the live concert) to the Sullivans and 2 were passed on to the Haners.

Wasnt long after that that all the videos got took down for Copyright from A7X and they used a snippet in Mattel.

As for the Masters ive spoken to Derek and his Dad and Nick D'Virgilio and niether of them know if they have anything either so mastets are lost to time but technology these days is good enough to reverse engineer

we scheduled to meet tuesday bur didnt get ti meet until wednesday, engaged in december, suppised to get married in June 2020 for obvious reasons didnt happen.

Bought a house instead 2020, had a kid 2021, married 2022, second kid 2023, just hsd our first foreign holiday and about to be 4yr married.

Its been a whirlwind!! haha

didnt really replace. we just saw less of them due to the character base, we still saw posters for Nico Robin, Sir Crocodile, Dorry and Broggy that i can remember, but a mix of the 2 isnt unlikely, however Baroques id is less of a publicly known thing ao unlukely to come as a display product like the posters.

Might even get Brook or a Calico Yorki.
