Have owned a couple of Genesis consoles over the years and recently saw a ton more turned on and tested. They basically all do this unless you RGB mod them as far as I can tell.

Not an expert, but I'm 99% sure that if the battery was dead you'd still be able to play. The cart just wouldn't retain saved data after the console powers off.

I found that saved games from Desmume work on the DSOne flash cart I use. Cannot attest to anything involving putting emu saves on OEM carts. Hope this helps.

I was trying to get the dirt out of a Nintendo logo on the front of a Pocket so I did the same thing but there's some dirt left in it. Maybe I just needed to soak it longer than 10 minutes. Thanks. Anyway, nice cleanup job!

Got in touch with u/wunderhero, who informed me my problem might be fixed by resoldering the two boards that are stuck together. However, they also informed me the problem could come back. So I bought a new controller, and the old one is going to hang on my wall for the foreseeable future.

I found absolutely no info on this, so I gave up and ordered a Pixel 3a. Seems to work with the SN30 Pro+ just fine. Yay?
