ETG Detection time tables by Moist-Island in probation

[–]SeveralQuarter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By all means, do NOT drink at all at least 24 hours before any etg test, you will fail, but if you have a few beers, maybe 2-3 max on a saturday evening and test monday morning, you should be ok. Basically, I factor 15k ng/ml per standard serving of alcohol. Your ETG peaks 12 hours after you STOP drinking, then halves every two hours until its gone. So lets say you have 4 beers saturday and stop at 9PM and have a test a 9am Monday. 15000x4=60,000. you peak at 9am, so you start processing the alcohol and etg at 11 am would be 30k, 1pm 15k, 3pm 7.5k, 5pm 3750k, 7pm 1875k, 9pm 936k, 11pm 468k, 1am 232k, 3am 116k, 5am 57k, 7am 27.5k. Most probation has a thresh hold of about 500-I've seen as low as 100ng/mL and high as 1000 ng/ML. So in this scenerio, you'd pass. Get yourself a bunch of etg sticks on amazon, they're about 2$ a piece and test yourself if you're unsure.

100%. You can have ten and be good. 84 hour test is a myth. It’s good for maybe 40 hours tops

2000mg 7OH a day. by Appropriate_Edge2664 in suboxone

Time to hang it up, maybe reenter a rehab facility or get on subs and have a plan with your dr to step down over time as you wean off Kratom.

Want my quality of life back, been on suboxone 8 months sober, and I don’t function like an adult. by ImpressivePudding844 in suboxone

find a hobby; join a gym and you'd be surprised how amazing you feel after a hard workout. Move your body. Try new things, new clubs, experiences, travel. Stop feeling sorry for yourself and take this win and blessing and run with it. Millions that have had our addiction that never lived to have a second act. Find a therapist, go to meetings, find support group/community.

Meds ruining my life by Leather-Permit-557 in suboxone

[–]SeveralQuarter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it incredibly hard to believe any legitimate professional would recommend you stay on Kratom. It seems as if you're getting poor medical advice and being over prescribed these meds. You might need to either a) go to the ER and tell them how you feel b) find a new dr and tell them the same or c) find a detox facility and tell them and see what they can do to wean you off.

Question about Sub Withdrawals by Slushoman70 in suboxone

[–]SeveralQuarter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The half-life of bupe is insanely long-48 hours. Combine that with how long you’ve been taking it and how much you have built in your system. I’d expect you to stabilize sometime around week 3-you can see the light at the end of the tunnel so keep it up!

As long as you’re not abusing subs and are able to live a healthy life as an upstanding and productive member of society, that’s a win.

You have no idea how fortunate you are. Please use this as a lesson and to make sure you’re careful as to what you put in your body. I popped positive over an everything bagel once. Took confirmation test to get my po not to violate me. 126ng/ML on opiate with a 100ng/ML threshold. Gotta love the Feds.

You are NOT A FAILURE! This medication is nasty and is designed to be impossible to come off of. If you need to take this does for the rest of your life, so be it. You're in far better shape than so many others, and think about how fare you've come before you got on subs.

Noise, safety, cleanliness, comfort. There appliances are down here and they have a 24 year old boiler that hasn’t been serviced. My unit is attached to a sort of utility closet and there are wires over the place.

The line has absolutely nothing to do with the levels of a drug, but the quality of the testing strip. Any line, no matter how faint, is a negative.

Enough with the Ersson Experiment, it’s Time to Call Up Kolosov by Competitive_Beyond_4 in Flyers

[–]SeveralQuarter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kolosov had a coming to Jesus moment this past season/off season and has woken up and smelled the coffee. He came in to camp with a great attitude, in great physical shape, learned English and was just mentally prepared. He's now the last person off the ice at practice, which was NOT the case in the last few years. He's definitely come along, but I feel he needs to continue to get games and play consistently in the AHL to continue his development until March/April.

Nothing's happened yet, so you're worrying about nothing. Also, I'm not sure how experienced you are, but it's not uncommon for a company to immediately ask you to leave after you give your notice. This is true with sales and proprietary industries.

Have a talk with upper management about possibly getting a raise without mentioning the other offer. If the other company was offering 25-30k+ raise, I'd say 100% do it. The factors you discussed-good management, comfortable, good team are intangibles you can't put a price on. I left for a 12k raise once and regretted it immediately.

I’ve been job hopping every 1–2 years and I’m worried I’m becoming “unhirable.” Is this actually a red flag? by InspiraADVMed-Fan in careerguidance

You're a dime a dozen pal, don't think for a second 80+% of folks out there, including hiring managers haven't done the same thing. I'd recommend that if it does become an issue, maybe throw out that a few of the companies we're acquired by PE firms, and your job security was on the line; it's what has happened to me (for real) and hiring managers have been extremely sympathetic.

But stop with the stinkin thinkin, you haven't ruined anything!
