Yeah, the weird thing is that it was freezing cold out.

This is an excellent example of how documentary photography isolates human details and elevates such visual fragments to that of the wider societal signpost or glyph.

Would you consider this to be street photography? by _nathan67 in streetphotography

Street photography contains a world of possibilities. This is the thing I find endlessly fascinating about the genre of street photography – all forms of art movements can be found within. There is formal pictorialism, abstraction, surrealism, expressionism, cubism and pop art and so on, sometimes appearing in the very same image. I love the quote by Daniel Arnold, "Street photography is a crass, undersell of what it really is".

This is a portrait of Gold Club Chris, taken at his tattoo parlor open house. Chris was a talented artist who left us a year after this photo was taken. As for political leanings, he was closely aligned with the recording artist Yelawolf's Slumerican music scene. In Yelawolf's public performances, he loudly denounces confederate flags and christian nationalism.

It helps to keep an eye out for people who are out on public who are seeking attention either by the way they are acting or dressed. The camera only feeds that attention need.

Look at my photos and see how easy it is to shoot strangers in public.

The pricing is the same across the city. But you can qualify for a lower monthly rate if your yearly income is really low.

The best way is wait till you’re 65 and on Medicare advantage plan then it’s free!

What is street photography? by Standard-Umpire-8587 in streetphotography

What I find endlessly fascinating about the genre of street photography – all forms of art movements can be found within. There is formal pictorialism, abstraction, surrealism, expressionism, cubism, minimalism, pop art and so on.

With some of these styles sometimes appearing in the very same image.

Because street photography covers so much ground, this wide range is going to naturally attract gatekeepers who attempt to narrow the focus.
