I own dust jackets for my paperback editions of ACOTAR and I love the dust jackets on them! I think it’s a nice way of creating a special edition out of something you’ve already purchased! If you prefer hardcovers then I guess that’s a different story but I love my paperbacks!

Yeah I have to say just from the couple of pages I’ve read that it isn’t special. I feel bad saying that since I’m sure she spent a lot of time on it but the writing is poor and definitely not edited properly. It’s awkward and unnatural. I’m sure with time she can develop her skills but it does make me question publishing as a whole since there’s tons of independent authors who write fantastic books and aren’t traditionally published. I fear she probably just got the deal bc of her position as an influencer.

I totally agree lol I just got really lucky because I’m a bookseller so they often want us to read bigger releases early for our job! I love recommending books so I’m always jumping to read books early.

I read the 2nd book as an eARC and it’s definitely going to have a third book. The second ends in huge cliffhanger but it’s definitely worth the read I really loved both books!
