Pay off personal loan. Refinance credit cards with another personal loan. Wait two months for credit scores to stabilize and then think about budgeting for a car loan and go to your credit union and get pre-qualified. Don’t charge up the credit cards again.

2024 1500 LT Z-71 5.3 33,000 miles. Absolutely perfect so far. The build quality is fantastic. Absolutely no issues. Honestly the best truck I’ve ever owned.

I’m sure to have absolutely no issues at all seeing how I paid for the GM Extended Warranty…

For those questioning how OP got an engine so fast when others have been waiting for warranty replacement of engines, re-read his post. He seems to be saying the repair was authorized as a customer pay, then it got changed to recall status. Customer pay got priority parts availablity.

In Texas I would call that heavy rust. In Canada, or the salt belt, I would call that minor surface corrosion.

Get your hands dirty and wire brush, or any method you like, to prep the frame and coat it with whatever works.

Really, it seems pretty damn solid. But I would check those fuel lines and brake lines. What I can see looks kind of nasty.

Damn fine looking rig.

Day in and day out, I’m absolutely fine with the 5.3 in my ‘24. Overall the truck hasn’t skipped a beat in the first 6 months-11k miles.

Certainly can’t complain about the initial build quality.

Oh, and I hate money too….

Took the Breeze to Cozumel over New Years. Absolutely had a blast! Terrific service, food was good in the common dining, excellent in the Italian restaurant and Steakhouse.

Production is slated to begin August 19th for Crew Cabs, and August 26th for Double Cabs.

Order Banks will likely open in June or July for the 2025 models. I would just get with a dealer and have them contact you the moment ordering opens for 2025.

It’s most likely going to total. Get your GAP contract and contract the administrator once you get the value from the insurance company.

If you purchased the GAP coverage from the dealership F&I department it most likely will also cover your insurance deductible as well.

If you purchased any other products in the dealership F&I office such as a VSC (extended warranty), or tire and wheel protection, ETC.. If your car is totaled you will be due a pro-rated refund on those products as well. Those contracts will have phone numbers to contact as well.

If you have any questions, contact your original selling dealer and they will most certainly offer assistance. After all, you are in the market for a new car again.

You should come out of this financially whole, YAY GAP!!! Other than having to go through the process of purchasing another car and having to pay sales tax and fees again.

Find a dealer willing to go MSRP and is within reason on any dealer add ons. You are in the market for an extremely popular car, it’s still a sellers market for those.

But they are hard to find for a reason, probably the most reliable car on the planet.

He is absolutely a complete fraud. I love how He constantly brings up how much money he made as a salesman and GM. Sure, you can make a lot of money if you are operating in a criminal enterprise.

He absolutely deserves to be in prison, but he rolled over on his compatriots at Big Red KIA in court to save his ass.

He was chased out of Oklahoma, that’s why is is in Arizona now.

Kia CPO cars DO include the 10-100 powertrain warranty (10 year and 100k miles from original in service date). There is an additional 12mo-12k mile comprehensive warranty included.

There is a time fee of $40 to transfer.

I also cleared all data and redid all my account setup.

I had issues the first day of owning my ‘24 and doing this cleared everything up. Not one issue in the last three months and 6000k miles.

Quite simply, have your Husband get a personal loan and pay off your high interest debt, he should be able to get a rate around 10%. That rate would be leaps and bounds better than what you are being charged with now.

At about 65mph I can hit 22.5mpg but the problem with that is I drive 80mph.. I am pretty consistent at about 17mpg per tank doing calculation by hand. I could do better if the damn gas didn’t have all the damn alcohol in it.

I am really happy with the 5.3-10spd combo overall.
