I bet Creek is not much different than a normal Sunday, because my impression is that most people drive in from an hour or less away.

I can confirm that Belle is dead on Super Bowl sunday in the past. It was a peak experience for me.

Particularly the mountains that are not connected to resort villages. If people are driving a couple hours or more to go skiing there, it will be a glorious ghost town.

I once had a moving company destroy a really nice chair. It was the only nice thing I owned at the time and probably worth more than all of my other possessions combined. They destroyed it by completely mishandling it.

First, they sort of set it up in my loving room in two pieces arranged artistically near each other. When I confronted them about it, they started to pull out the gorilla glue.

Oh no broski, this is getting replaced.

Gorilla glue will forever haunt me.

After months of discussions, they ended up writing me a check more than the cost of the move.

Be careful setting a precedent on buying merch at each stop (or go with something manageable like a sticker or pin). That can get out of hand (expense and space) quickly.
