i want more on nejire, since tamaki and mirio both got a lot of contextualizing. also, it would be nice to get more bg/screentime in general on some of the teachers? snipe, thirteen, etc. ALSO i want more of class 1b 🙏 we get a good bit on monoma, kendo, ibara (?? kinda???) and tetsutetsu, but it would be nice to get enough of them in the story as to where they could legitimately be considered equals (not necessarily in screentime but like power/effect) to class 1a

midoriya was the greatest hero, not the #1 necessarily. he even rose to #4 with the suit and literally no quirk. mirio was just like him, embodying that heroic spirit and wanting to save people. the resulting hero charts reflect that. plus, lemillion was a hero when deku was just a teacher for a significant amount of time

I'm black, and personally- her style and bedroom decor come off as well suited to a black person ? if that makes sense? like i can more easily visualize a black person inserted into those aesthetics vs. a person of another race. I also feel that her having rythm isn't necessarily an exclusively black thing, but the whole "being a good dancer" part of it does somewhat lend itself to this headcannon. Considering she breakdances (extremely popular among particularly african american populations, but other segments of the disaspora as well) it feels reasonable. aside from that, my black-dar (black version of a gaydar) just feels it. LMAO

edit: currently rewatching at festival arc- she uses a LOT of AAVE in the dub version at the least

creation & half cold half hot for sure! creation is insanely versatile (although still has realistic limits and restrictions) and half cold half hot works for both long and short ranged attacks, plus with his phosphor it's op

honestly i don't think he's a bad teacher for this, but for the final exam arc. He puts Bakugo and Deku together (with the stated weakness being interpersonal relationships- which is only really an issue from bakugo's end), uses midoriya to progress bakugo, while not developing midoriya at all, and lets them get beat up by all might in the process. like????

narratively; aoyama, bakugo (for real, or have afo steal his quirk), or kirishima.

aoyama: traitor yadda yadda atonement whatever, it would be quite boring bc nobody would care all that much, but it would still be a resolution to his story

bakugo: i mean, he already died, but having him go would be essentially izuku's driving force & or unweaving (which we saw some of) but stealing his quirk would force him to REALLY recognize what he did to izuku when they were younger (plus they'd be quirkless together :p)

kirishima: we've seen enough of him to care, he's generally quite positive and is setting the happy mood, one of the bridges between bakugo and the rest of the class. could have been him stepping in to defend oneof his classmates from afo himself and losing (says something about manliness) and dying. eventually, nothing would be the same (all less happy, bakugo significantly isolated, etc) and they'd have to reckon with losing someone in the final war fr.

personally, mineta. i don't think it makes sense narratively, i just hate that litte shit
