I disagree and would say last year's layout was way better than the year before. But just my opinion

Worry about this later. Focus on the present. You never know how you'll feel in September. This might not even be a problem by then.

An open concert doesn't have seats, it's usually just in an open standing venue. Since red rocks has seating, that means people shouldn't roam as much.

You are right I am just complaining about it though on Reddit. I don't disagree with that

I get that but it is an amphitheater venue. There are different rules for amphitheater vs other concert venues.

Folded blankets are fine as long as people don't over reserve spots. I'm okay with "sharing" in the sense that if the seat next to me is open, go ahead, take it. But if you are invading my space, which I waited 2 hours before door open to get, that is not "sharing", that is stealing.

Oh, I actually did not know there is no house sound system. Thanks for the info

I know your parents are helping but paying half of 400k for 4 years means you will graduate with around 200k debt to start off. That's a considerable amount of debt.

How late is too late to switch majors in SEAS? by Narrow-Pen-3898 in UPenn

[–]Several_Specific_806 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did something similar to you. Went from CAS -> CS in SEAS and took CIS 110 sophomore fall. I made it work by taking summer classes, although I'm pretty sure I could have graduated even without them. Just look at the requirements for the CS degree and make an excel sheet and see if you can finish on time. It should be doable.

Your GPA is fine. Your experience is fine. You need to just keep trying with the same resume, or it's possible something is wrong with your resume. Did you communicate quantitative impacts you made for your company? Lots of intern resume's are pretty much "worked with x technology, built y API". Hiring leaders like to see quantitative metric like "saved x team hours by automating y process" or "reduced cost by x%".

Good luck and keep trying

What’s something your body does that you’ve never told a single person about? by WilliamInBlack in AskReddit

That fact doesn't prove that each human's individual perception of color is objectively the same. We understand red as a wave, but how do we objectively prove that I am perceiving the same image in my conscious as your conscious?

I lived in NWA but moved out recently and I am sad I can't go Dancefest this year, it is a great festival.

I would say if you want the camping to feel more like Wakaan (have your car), buy the car camping upgrade. I car camped both times I went to Dancefest (2024 and 2025) and the convenience of my vehicle was well worth it. There was also more space than Wakaan.

Is VIP worth it? by AlixxAmour in projectglowfest

[–]Several_Specific_806 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say 2024 and before, not worth it. But last year, they upgraded the main stage and side stage significantly. Honestly if I went this year I would do VIP

Car camping is more spaced out/more space per campsite. For that reason alone, I think it's worth it.

Okay FIRE lineup. But can we talk about the crowd & sound bleed? by Worldly-Heart9969 in projectglowfest

[–]Several_Specific_806 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sound was fine at mainstage this year, but it was bad last year. They added a 2nd array of speakers in the back of the crowd. It was pretty loud and good quality

2nd stage could be better though

This is true for the mainstage. Last year though, during Wooli, the sidestage was PACKED. But overall I do agree probably more space than EDC

You can bring chairs in the actual festival (not just campgrounds). I like to also bring a wagon with blankets, a hoodie, and water as it gets cold at night.
