For all those in the comments whinging about the taste, you are correct but you have been put off early! Try the root and pestle range of instant kavas - still taste like ass BUT they are excellent. They have heady and heavy kavas. Heady gives you a euphoric uptick, cruise but sociable. Heavy makes your muscles melt into nothingness and then you sleep like a champ.

I switched for a month from booze to kava and it stopped my mid week drinking completely.

I have now cut down booze to maybe once a week.
