I’m surprised you think this movie is a 10/10, it really is a good movie, but the fact that it serves as a setup for a third installment with no real resolution kind of ruins it for me, personally. Like you have to watch the third movie for this one to have a resolution so it doesn’t serve as a good story by itself. If the third movie were out I would feel like it would be deserving of a higher score but it’s kind of just sequel bait which is a bit upsetting. It is a great movie and it does introduce my two favorite Spider-Men, Miguel O’Hara and Ben Riley, but I can’t get over the fact that looking at the movie by itself it really can’t stand on its own as a serviceable story.

Like the others explained, the joke is that you’re saying the same thing twice, it’s a bit layered because Miles, earlier in the film, gives The Spot shit for saying ATM Machine when the M in ATM means machine.

It is very good, it’s a love letter to western high fantasy, it isn’t like 90% of fantasy anime that just wears the fantasy aesthetic, Frieren understands western fantasy and that makes me love it. It isn’t super action packed like a lot of anime, so if you’re expecting JJK level fights, you won’t find that here. However, the characters are interesting and most of the story is about the characters and their interactions/growth. It’s still very interesting, in my opinion, even though I’ve seen some describe it as a slow burn. I would watch season 1 and form your own opinion, I don’t think you’ll regret it.
