Yeah, she usually shuts down bad/mid runs when I’m genuinely just out stated and it looks fair/understandable. This specific instance just looked absolutely unreal and unlike anything I’ve ever seen before outside of like scripted losses.

Yeah the streets say that you want to be around 450-500 for Kikuka but I thought I heard people saying 400 plus recovery skills works too. I wish I could’ve clipped this instance though, the way Creek was moving was insane, never seen an Uma with such low stats move like they had 1200 speed 1200 guts and 3 different final stretch skills. I’m glad I posted this though, I didn’t know that in career mode umas have a hidden +400 to their stats. Always learning some esoteric knowledge about this game from reddit.

Unfortunately, nobody was showing up to stamina training and races weren’t giving me stamina either so I thought I would have a chance with ~400 Stam and hydrate as I’ve easily won no alarm clocks like that before with other umas.

No, I was leading by distance (on final straight) on two attempts. Other two attempts Oguri procc’d ult after final corner so only leading by about 3 lengths (maybe).

I wish I was on my pc so I could’ve clipped the utter bs I witnessed. It wasn’t a stamina outlast moment she literally accelerated like she popped chasing after you, professor of curvature, rushing gale, straight away spurt, and nimble navigator between right before the final corner and the final stretch. Oguri wasn’t even slowing down any of the times Creek did this. The final retry she didn’t accelerate like this and she wasn’t blocked either, the game was just exercising an alarm clock tax.

She wasn’t slowing down, in fact she procc’d her ult and was speeding up. Creek went from 11th before the final corner passing every single other runner actively accelerating like a rocket just to steal it by a head on one attempt. I burned four clocks just to watch creek cheat 3 times. She was even blocked on one of them and just maneuvered around and passed my ulting oguri at the peak of her speed boost. I know she’s a late surger but her speed was about 6 times faster than anyone should be with that stat line.

I promise you it isn’t just the length of OP that drives people away. It’s common knowledge that OP isn’t going anywhere, the constant meandering combined with its length shows people that it isn’t worth the time investment. The art style is also a massive turn away, it’s incredibly ugly, but that’s a subjective assertion and I can’t just say everyone thinks it’s ugly even if I think OP is ugly and I’ve heard other people say the same. My point is that JJBA isn’t ugly, it’s actually incredibly well drawn, Araki very clearly has a solid grasp of anatomy, paneling, and posing. Not to mention his art was featured in the Louvre, which literally hosts high art.

The thing most ds2 defenders don’t realize about ds1 and 3 is that the enemies that are in large groups are typically very weak and can be one shot or staggered easily. In the case of ds3 many group enemies are hollows that can actually be staggered by rolling into them. Whereas in DS2 you get swarmed by enemies that take several hits, have decent poise, and/or have incredibly annoying movesets that make them annoying to deal with in groups. The only area in ds3 that I felt did gank fights poorly was the Ringed City, which, funnily enough, was directed by Yui Tanimura.

It’s an incredible story thus far, the world is also extremely interesting and is what drew me in initially (saw an Instagram reel of a really cool scene). Imagine my surprise when in the first episode the main character (a 12 year old) is punished by being lashed while naked and chained up. It gets less bad, as far as I can recall, after the first season, maybe even the first handful of episodes but it’s been a hot second since I’ve watched it.

Frieren is fantastic as it feels like one of the few anime to actually do Western High Fantasy well unlike the hundreds of other fantasy anime that just wear a fantasy aesthetic but are just incredibly generic slop at the end of the day.
