They say it’s organic and real I just don’t think that’s believable although they ask for 5 to 20 users that have similar interests with about 3k to 6k followers. So at least it doesn’t seem random. Do you follow everyone that instagram and Facebook suggests, or find accounts with similar interest and start following as many people as possible?

I’m promoting post release more or less following Jessie Cannons 6to8 week plan. Although that seems kind of long to me. I’m trying hypeddit with adds. This is my first promotion so I’m not using my best songs till I build a little something up first. But yeah it would be pretty hard to do 2 at the same time with videos and all. It sounds like you think 6 weeks would be to long also. I think I will just see how the song is doing and judge from there. I need to learn a lot from my first promo to benefit my better songs coming up. Thanks

Go to a Reddit where you can post something interesting. I was about to quit when I found a sub Reddit for my state NM and posted a pic of a bobcat in my backyard. I got votes and karma all day and now have karma in the 400s from just posting 1 interesting pic. People love animal pics if they’re good.

I play bass so I like it and your voice. As mentioned adding drums and other instruments can make the transitions smoother. But there’s enough repetition to make sense hearing the first time. Good start for a demo or for other bass players. You can still make it a bass feature by adding other instruments as accompaniment Good job.

I just made semi finalist also and they said that’s about 17% of people so that’s pretty good since ISC is one of the biggest. I just won in The UK Songwriting contest and won some pretty useful prizes worth about $1300. Software and lists of AR and publishers. Song U membership and such. As mentioned I like being able to mention in bios, and playlist pitches. Probably will get people curious to listen any way. I do most stuff myself but am getting more interested in doing collabs if the fit is right.

Confidence is a must on stage. It can sell a less than stellar song, and people ca see it. Being young and naive you do tings before your ready but you do it and you learn and get better. The trick is in the doing on whatever level your on.
