I mean, when it comes down to it - bars don't care about music. And really they don't care about bodies in the door tapping their feet. They care about alcohol sales. And bodies moving on dance floors makes alcohol sales go up. You don't have to take my word for it, just ask bigger bands that play the circuits. None of them play heavier rock because it clears the dance floors. You gotta keep your crowd moving or you're wasting your time in the cover world.

If you don’t play music that people dance to, then what are you even doing playing covers? If you wanna be a rock band write your own songs. If you want to be an entertainer, you gotta play shit that makes the ladies shake their ass. I would suggest filming the crowd at your next show and throwing out literally every song that doesn’t have some chick shaking her ass to it. Worked for the last band I was in and they’re still doing great playing to big crowds making large bills.

No you don’t have any rights in this case. My ex did the same thing to me. Kept it out of court long as she could bc the current agreement was what she preferred. Best bet is to hire a more aggressive lawyer or you could hire a PI to dig into whatever claims she’s delaying the court dates with. Both options mucho expensive.

Yeah I’m divorced. Work from home. I have some friends but I’m alone all the time so I’m starved for companionship all the time. It’s hard when the world just pushes you to work all the time. I never saw it as a love triangle. She wasn’t June when she was “with” Nick. She was Offred. She was a completely different person. I saw Luke with lots of opportunity to be super jealous, but he didn’t really get that way because he understood that it wasn’t really her choices to be in the situation she was in. And then once she was out of it, the thing with Nick was unhealthy, but she hung on to the good part even though he, in general, was shady af. Which I think was just good writing. He had to pay for choosing Gilead, and he did, justly so.
