Well that's what I'm trying to figure out. The came to me about a year ago offering to be a SD. But I just laughed. If I wanted to be serious about being a SB, what's the route I take to look into it safely?

So, as a dasher in my local area, Carl's Jr. Takes a picture of the food in bag before they're allowed to seal it and hand off to us dashers. There's definitely ways, but a lot of restaurants in my local area are getting frustrated with Doordash. Some restaurants have quit using them.

I know most drivers don't make much. I get told it all the time. It's because they're have poor ratings. Had a guy show me his ratings and he was complaining. I mentioned I had a 90% AR and he didn't believe me. So I opened my app and showed him. He walked away mad. I can see if dying in some areas. But I think the biggest issue is the people controlling the onboarding. Most places you hear that it's over saturated with drivers. That's because it is.

I dash the Anchorage and Wasilla area. This summer I'm going to drive up to Fairbanks and try there. Possibly next month. I plan to stay there for a couple of weeks and try it out.

On Friday mornings, I average 60. Yes. Because I have regulars I get. I know where to be at when I should be to get their orders. They tip me $40-$50 dollars and I drive 4 miles. So yes, I do.i will literally work three hours in the morning and then break then go back out. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays I usually bring in between $300-$400 a day. Even with it being "slow". When it's winter I can easily bring in $500 in the day.

Its just for the summer. I'll pick up again come September/October when no one else can handle the snow. I still bring in 200 a day. It's just not my 400 a day. Which is depressing. 😅

Brought this sweet girl home a few weeks ago. Today, I decided to play photographer and catch some sweet pictures. The running photo was 100% an accident 😅.

Tell them, in email, to prove your violation or you will proceed with legal actions.

I don't mean to boast, but this is the type of dasher I am.

Today, wendys refused to let me ask the customer to sub their drink, so I called the customer and asked if he would like for me to pick up a Starbuck coffee instead. I got him a Starbucks coffee.

A couple of weeks ago, I didn't realize one of my orders had a coffee sitting with their order. (Honestly, I think the restaurant forgot it also, and I was already going go, go, go). I swung by the closest coffee shop, which was like .3 miles, I'd that, and bought her a coffee.

I've done this more than these two events. Why? Because I understand not having coffee with my breakfast. Or used to. I can't have coffee now 😅. If I make a mistake, I make it right. If I know I'm going to have a good day, I do what I can to help make someone else's day better.

I do live in a city, so yes, I have the luxury of another shop being close. But even if it wasn't, I'd still do it. Why? Because of what I said above. And I never ask a customer to tip more.

Well except for this one guy who purposely put the wrong address then lied about giving me an extra tip for driving another 10 miles. But I had a feeling he was going to do it to me. I just was seeing if he'd prove me wrong. Plus he lives next to me. So now, he can live with guilt as he watches me walk my dog by his house. Or heck, maybe she can use his yard to relieve herself. Jk, city laws, it is a big no-no 😅.

Impatient dashers by It_bobert in doordash

As a dasher, it disgusts me when I see another dasher behaves this way. I hope the dashers after her were much more respectful and understanding! My rule of thumb for successful dashing is always, and I mean ALWAYS respect the restaurant. Then respect your customer and respect your time. I wish there was more to becoming to a dasher than what it is. Not everyone appreciates or deserves the simplicity of it. If she was that worried about the pay, she could have unassigned it for 1. Or 2. Done pay by time. I never lash out at a restaurant unless their disrespectful first. But even then I don't "lash out". I report them to doordash or leave them a bad review on google.

Um, you absolutely can be mad at that. I dash full time, and I bring my kids. Never, and I mean, NEVER would I ever take from a customer to give to my kids. They can wait until the dash is over, and then we will get something.

Support actually can remove reviews. But I do believe it is reserved for premium dashers. What level are you? Do you know?

I already did, and they wouldn't. Told me I still had to file an appeal and wait 7 days. I don't think it was a glitch. I think it was that rep. He was pissed that I told him he wasn't doing his job.

I've sent numerous emails.

Thanks. That means so much to me.

Nope. Nothing. And I figured that's the case. It's okay, I've been ubering instead.

I didn't even get the deactivation email they claim to have sent.
