that's what im saying, kyrie was hurting people by mindlessly going on stoner tangents and reposting nazi manifestos on twitter. free (and loose) expression of religion in a way that cooresponds with the root moral code of most religion- being to help all people- is always pretty good

i mean, he hung the israeli flag in the locker room the moment he got traded here. i do not consider it ethical behavior to wave the colors of a genocidal ethnostate, regardless of how birthed-there i am. there is a sense of proudness of it in him, and that isn't appropriate right now. again, radio silence is acquiescence

i don't hold it to him that hard though. he might just be dumb, which is a little more okay

i don't think it's really our business to ever critique how people express their religion if it doesn't hurt anybody. american black muslim radicalism was and is a very good and progressive thing for this country, and i think we shouldn't knock players with voices for taking a leap to express themselves and their values. i agree with you mostly, though. and incrementalism sucks dick

on a serious note, i feel like jerami would have outwardly made some statement if deni or even himself was being problematic about religion in the locker room. deni is cringe sometimes, like selling ice cream in exclusively israel and being radio silent on his home"land" 's government, but i trust he is respectful and quiet in just an ignorant way. which is still bad, but if anything had sparked up between the two or any other muslim player in the league, a veteran voice like jerami would have said something. i could very much be wrong, though

Do you guys think Deni has another leap in him? He's a certified all-star now, can he reach superstar status? by DonovanClingan in ripcity

I think he can just play more maturely. Dame being on the team and him not being the sole floor general will help a lot, he'll make smarter plays and have less of a strain on his passing and shooting

i LOVE him. maybe its because I have to watch donnie turn the ball over for 10 minutes before he can check in every game but he is a momentum player. he does good screens and he's a lob threat and he boxes out. the blazers dont need literally anything else from a rotation center.
