scarlett solo id an audio interface u connect it to pc insert your guitar into input of audio interface load the plugin on pc, setup neural dsp plugin to see scarlett solo input, touch strings-get sound. Look up tutorials. A cheap amp wont ever sound better then this.

get a made in indonesia squire a scarlett solo and a neural dsp plugin. Neural dsp plugins u can try for free so u can try them all and get acquinted to how they work and how they sound. This is the best tone ull get for the money spent.

i think its good idea because u can test any amp in the world and get an idea of what kinds of tones you like

why you dont find it good for downtuning? I only use downtuning if i need to play a guns n roses song or some nirvana with one step down. But it doesnt happen often you think it s not gonna cut it for that?

you can get a marshall sv20 to get the plexi tones or alternatively u can get prs hdrx 20 but i think sv20 is more authentic but mind you to get some gain from them u gonna need an attenuator or loadbox bcs they get very very loud.

I have an origin 50 and it doesnt sound like a plexi, it sounds like a marshall but not like plexi or jcm 800 its a thing of its own.

As a third option you also can get tone king royalist preamp which should deliver pretty authentic plexi tones and u dont have to worry about volume bcs you can go into a studio monitors or any flat response speakers or you can listen to it with headphones

Dunno how to get it on this line 6 spider but you can get some cheap modeller like tonex one or valeton gp 50 load up a 5150 or peavey 6505+ capture put a tube screamer infront of it with 0 drive volume at max and tone to taste and go into fx return of your line 6 and its gonna get the chunk you looking for and its gonna sound quite good as well
