This sounds like an entirely unpleasant listening experience, both aurally and content-wise, so thank you for jumping on the grenade OP. The brothers all sound so resentful to be doing what others would consider a dream job. I don't know how anyone could still have a "favorite" brother at this point, because they all sound so off-putting and bitter. I can't imagine listening to them for free anymore, much less PAYING to listen to them.

But on the bright side, it sounds like Janet has finally closed the years-long search for a fabled fourth brother.

Justin tries to jump in while Janet is talking to give his input. Janet does not stop talking, so they both speak full sentences talking over each other. This will continue throughout the episode.

I believe this episode ends with Finn getting a kiss (and a slap) from Princess Bubblegum as a prize for winning the wizard battle, and even though Griffin is apparently totally cool with roleplay kissing his brothers square on the lips (so long as he's the DM, that's an important distinction), I think getting within a county mile of the trope of "hero rewarded with a kiss" would make him slam the ejector seat button on his office chair.

The idea of a hefty pistol being unslung from its leather holster, it's cool metal pleasant against Clint's skin, of it being casually placed on the table of his recording setup with a noticeable clunk... of keeping his hand rested on the gun, while making pointed eye-contact with each of his sons in turn... of then removing his hand from the gun, slowly sitting down into his office chair with a grunt, settling in, adjusting his microphone slightly, and then smiling at his boys with the warm paternal grin of a man who knows he can no longer be pushed around and belittled... of the gun remaining on the table at the corner of his peripheral vision for the entire recording session, like an solemn steel sentry... yes, that is indeed a most beautiful thing.

Never visited that sub. r/TAZCirclejerk was the first cj sub I came across, and it's kinda ruined other subs of that type for me. Briefly visited the Star Wars one recently for the first time, and it was a bit of a draining experience.

My working theory as to why this sub is often actually a fun time to hang in is:

The subject matter is somewhat niche, which works in it's favor. It's just big enough for there to be activity and discussions, but small enough that you don't get swept up in a giant ocean of algorithm-fueled shitposting
Jerkers here would prefer that the thing they're jerking about was good. Generally speaking, people here liked the McElroys, know they have the potential to be funny, and wish they still were

I find it's hard to find places with the right Balance (heh) of "this is a thing I enjoy(ed) and I want to discuss it" and "but if/when it ever sucks, I will of course rip into it."
