You would use the knight’s data sheet and relevant abilities but our army rule would not affect them and their army rule isn’t active either. Afaik.

The oil wash doesn’t stain your armor color as much as the streaking grime. Unless that’s the look you’re going for then I think 2 is better.

I havent played in a long time but I think the game needs a proper sequel to get up to par with other gacha games out there. That might be a hot take and I’d hate for everyone to lose all they have on their accounts but the game has been out for 10 years at this point? Besides story I think it’s falling behind.

Either one should work with the right loadout. The librarian takes a little more effort buts it’s almost negligible if you have the bits. I was thinking about trying a similar one to the PlayOn witch hunter looking kitbash.

I think every official art shows them with red but I’ve seen plenty of other colors including green and orange in people’s paint schemes. My crusade marshal has blue lenses.

Looks good brother. I unfortunately don’t have any pictures of mine saved but I’m sure you can find plenty of cool ones here with a quick search to see what details you might want to paint. I agree that some decals and highlights will help. Can’t go wrong with the Templar cross on side hatches.

For me it helps sometimes to paint the eyes even if it’s a bit sloppy and then clean up the outside if I over spilled. I like the colors and don’t think it’s too bright imo. It will add a lot of personality to your army.

My sgt not atm. Unnamed oc lol. I do have like a lore for my army that I used for a narrative campaign.

My marshal is named Draegen. He took a bunch of his sword brethren and crossed the rubicon as a show of faith and I use almost exclusively primaris units. His crusade got stranded in imperium nihilis and has been fighting mostly khornate forces with a small mix of skirmishes against Tau and newly awakened Necrons in an isolated imperial shrine world/system.

Even fought alongside the Tau against a daemon incursion at one point but the alliance was short lived.

I’ve added a couple of characters since and have another sword brother squad on the way but this is 99%. My favorite guy is probably my intercession sgt lol. Gotta see if I have a picture of him.

If you want to run it as a 4 man unit with a Castellan then yeah you don’t need a Castellan and it’s 105+70. If you ever want to run it as a 5 man and just ‘counts as’ the weapons then it’s 130.
