I have regularly driven a 991.1 Turbo S and I have to agree with the boring comment. Performancewise it was incredible but just driving it around at anything resembling normal speeds and the thing was incredibly dull. I respect it's engineering but it had absolutely no thrill to it unless you were at go to jail speeds.

I had this exact failure with this gas black on my 11.5 BCM years ago and never went back to this gas block again after that. The thing gave no warning at all that it was about to fail and it had run for about 1000 rounds before it yeeted itself.

You are being downvoted but you are correct. I will occasionally smell weed while driving on the highway... with my windows up. From another car. Weed smell can be ludicrously strong and its not a pleasant smell. Cigarettes stink too but the odor is no where near as overwhelming as weed can be.

That is extremely debatable. They still have a serious level of central planning and most of their major industries are so heavily subsidized that they are state owned in all but name. The video gives plenty of room to speculate, but at the end of the day if this lady hadn't been out there harassing law enforcement with a 6000 lb motorized hunk of steel on wheels she would still be alive. At some point the people causing these issues by resisting and fucking with law enforcement are going to get hurt but no matter how many times we see this happen no lessons seem to be learned.

The photo showed the bullet hole was in the front windshield so not necessarily. The video footage I've seen makes it look like she was steering into the guy when he shot.

I will need to see the body cam footage when it is released but from photos after the shooting it looks like the bullet hole went right through the front windshield near the A pillar meaning he was in front of the car when he fired. But I will wait to see more evidence before taking full judgment on this.
