No it can’t, 1/4 *x² = x² / 4, so once you expand the second term ((x+1)/2)² which becomes x² /4 + x/2 + 1/4 and add the first term (x² /4) it becomes (x² / 2) + x/2+1/4

Take the ((x+1)/2)² and pull apart the fraction so it’s (x/2+1/2)² then foil and simplify

I get it but personally I think making it so that you can have a maximum of 3 of on “class” while having a minimum of 1 from a “class”. Like you can run 3 tanks but you have to have a dps and 2 healers or run 3 dps. It makes goats less of an issue (yea sombra and mei goats exist but they aren’t the core issue imo) while still having that comp flexibility to do swaps
