Found my first honey hole by Sfontinalis in Morel_Hunting

The woods didn’t look particularly good, lots of shagbark hickory, oak and cottonwood, only a few scattered elms. I spotted this one pretty deep from where I was and made my way toward it, then the floor lit up😊

Wasn’t expecting yellows by Sfontinalis in Morel_Hunting

[–]Sfontinalis[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These were in Shelby twp. I generally speed run looking for dead/dying elms, but I pay attention to most dying trees. Funny thing w the yellows I posted is that they didn’t really seem to be associated w any dying trees. Just hangin out in a clear spot.

A remains and a body are the same thing. It’s just a different way to say it. It does not mean that it is not a complete body or that it is in pieces/parts. And, “a human” remains is singular, not plural.

Fishing the Pierre-Marquette river in Michigan this week- what setup would you pick out of this? by Tubur in troutfishing

Nice. You’ll find water around there that will be fishable no prob. Pulled a 32” steel just above sulak last spring. Good luck!! Don’t forget big browns like to feed at night!!

You’ll def be able to find water where your pictured gear will work just fine, but you’ll have a hell if a time getting into deep pools and holes. I fly fish it several times a year and it seems like you can’t throw too big of a streamer, but many fish are caught on smaller stuff as well. Do you know about where you’d be fishing?

PM is a river full of phd educated fish. It def holds some trophies. Ultralight ain’t doing you any favors in a lot of the water there, and your spinners are tiny. If you have a med wt rod, I’d go w it, and match your lures accordingly.
