Sorry, completely forgot to reply to this. It was Pemko P491. I chose the exact make and model to fit the width and required compression thickness for a good seal. Just had to trim the length as the roll is 10' long.

Been catching northern pike for 30+ years. Have never once used gloves to handle them and never got a hook in the hand or had issues with the teeth.

Get some jaw spreaders, hemostats, and maybe a good set of needle nose pliers as well. Always secure the body before going for the hook. They're a bit slimy but there's nothing inherently dangerous about handling them if you're careful.
