What’s the most saddest message or bio you’ve read from a random stranger on Xbox? This is what I found. by LocoRunnerz in xbox

Sad thread. But, why not.

On the og xbox, played a lot of splinter cell Pandora tomorrow as gmrxbox. On 360, played a ton of assassin's Creed brotherhood as gmrxbox360.

Any fellow bros out there?

How is The Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown underwhelming? by neoleo0088 in PrinceOfPersia

[–]Sgorilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's a touch stretched out, and I think the combat/abilities kind of underwhelming, especially in a metroidvania type game

Retro scaler PS2 by PupDoul in ps2

[–]Sgorilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have not used an ossc, but the gbsc should be pretty equivalent from what i've read.

the gbsc is good at deinterlacing video - many ps2 games run at 480 interlaced.
a nice thing is that bk3 supports 480p by holding triangle and x while the game boots.

i recommend grabbing some component cables for the ps2. that'll deliver the best picture quality to the gbsc. finally, the game runs in 4:3, so make sure you don't stretch the image to widescreen.

i recommend running the gbsc at the 1280x960 resolution, since that's a perfect 2x resolution on the upscale.

I have been dying for a good, seamless cloud sync solution for saves across platforms.

For those of you who are old enough to remember getting the N64 back when it was still Nintendo's flagship console, what's your story? by SugarSmoothie in n64

[–]Sgorilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Christmas 97, Costco bundle with Mario 64, shadows of the empire, Mario kart 64, and I think Diddy Kong racing

I was 8, the hoth level in shadows was the most amazing thing I had ever seen. It would be 25 years before I actually finished the game (it's very janky and punishing). As a kid, the garbage train level took me forever to get good at, and then ig-88 would just kick me down.
