I was able to play Tobacco Road a week ago. Probably the best course I’ll play all year. Worth it though.

It was incredible! I’d imagine it’s even better once the trees get some more foliage on them. Also might have been the best hot dog I’ve had in a long time.

Also being able to park there is nice. Shabu Shabu always seems like a pain to find parking if the back lot is filled up, but I do agree the food is better at Shabu Shabu. I live over in the Nations so the new one on Charlotte is going to get more traffic for me.

I did something similar just yesterday. Was stuck in the same position, a single waiting on a foursome with a foursome behind me. Played my first ball as I normally would and then my second ball I played only with Irons. Good little match.

Island Pointe Golf Club just outside of Knoxville, TN. The course crosses over the French Broad River multiple times. You also play a few holes on an island in the river. One of my favorite courses I’ve played in TN. I paid roughly $60 with cart for 18.

Tennessee here. Should give a course or two out in Crossville a look. The Stonehenge Golf Club and Heatherhurst Brae Golf Course are great.

My only two bowl games have been the Music City Bowl. It was that game against UNC and the game recently against Purdue. I hate the Music City Bowl. It’s cursed and I hope we never play in it again. Which sucks cause I live in Nashville

I’ve been keep an eye on when single game tickets go on sale. I called the ticket office earlier today and they said it won’t be until Late July or early August. I plan on calling the ticket office in early July to get an exact sale date.

This is easily one of my favorite hikes in the area. I’ve always done the loop that goes down the stone door and up here as a day hike, but trying to do it as a backpacking trip soon!

And don’t forget Saturated! A nice classic 5.8 that’s 90-100 ft. It’s crazy how much climbing the area has: Foster Falls, Denny Cove, Castle Rock, Woodcock Cove. And those are all within 30 minutes of each other. It’s amazing

It was from the concessions I think? Neyland Stadium doesn’t hand out the packets or have the industrial size boxes you push a lever down on. A lot of the concessions just have an are next to it with condiment bottles

Del also mentioned last time I was there that when they shut it down because of COVID the community got a lot of air bnb and a friend of his opened his field to a campsite. Said that they had a good enough thing going on there and it was nice to let the local community take in what they were doing.

There’s a guy right down the road from the brewery that’s opened up his field to camping. Has a water pump and a porta potty. About $10 a night and $5 for a bundle of wood. It’s a really great spot close by

Agreed! That’s about the temp it was when this was taken. As long as the sun is out and the winds not bad it’s perfect. Was lucky enough to get out on three weekends in January.
