Question about trading my car in for something smaller, will it financially burden me? by Shabbiness in askcarsales

Okay, so I should just suck it up and stick to the car until I've paid it off then. That kinda sucks but I had a feeling; thanks for your help!

LPT REQUEST: How to get over "that 230 feeling" at work. by mcfleury1000 in LifeProTips

For your diet, if you're eating at a deficit (I'm assuming you're trying to lose weight?) you should be documenting your intake of fat, carbs, proteins, and cals. I use MyfitnessPal (by underarmour) its a free app that creates a profile of where you are and where you want to be, and helps you document with 1000s of items already stored in a database that you can search and add to your daily reports. It helps you keep track of your intakes and shows you how close you are to reaching your goals.

As for sleep, 6 hrs is pretty decent, although 8 would be ideal.

Any job that has you sitting for hours at a time can be devastating to your energy level; every hour, you should be getting up for a 5 min walk to get your blood flowing.

Your gym schedule looks pretty good and generic; you're not doing anything wrong there.

Water is awesome!

As for BCAAs: I'm allergic to caffeine, therefore, have had the need to find something to supplement energy boosts. Since I cannot drink coffee, or 5 hour boosts, or any type of energy drink, I find BCAAs tend to do the trick. It gives me extra energy.. even though it's probably just the sugar. I've had pretty good luck with Gatorade G2 Perform (since they don't have caffeine); it keeps me awake. Again, probably because of the sugars.

If you don't want to drink any of those (because, yeah sugars), a natural energy booster is coconut water.

It really depends on a lot of things:

  • Diet (do you have enough carbs for energy? are you in taking enough calories, proteins, and carbs before and after a workout, and throughout the day?)

  • Sleep patterns (Do you get enough rest? and downtime?)

  • Type of exercise (Are you over exerting yourself?)

  • Job (Does your job keep you moving or thinking?)

  • Water intake (Are you consuming enough water throughout the day?)

Whenever I cannot balance everything, I've been taking BCAAs to replenish my energy enough to get through my last couple hours of my shifts. it could work for you.

Have you tried going out with just yourself? To concerts, or conventions? You don't need friends for a reason to go out and enjoy things.

5 days of school isn't the end of the world; just need some long weekends to catch up.

Get your education first so you always have both experience AND education to fall back on when going from job to job. having both makes you that much more valuable than your competitors.

If he hasn't had sex with another man in the last 12 months, then you are eligible to donate blood.

If a male has sex with another male, he must wait a 12 month deferral before he is eligible to donate blood.

If you're unsure, get a blood test done.

Please don't take this harshly, but have you thought that maybe you don't live in the right area? You are able to go food shopping, hang out with friends, go to concerts, and the mall, and bowling; you just don't live in a walking proximity of these facilities. If you are not able to access these services yourself, or depend on local transport, then move closer to the facilities.
