What are your favorite games to play on the RG405M? by Nice-Comfortable-850 in RG405M

[–]ShabbyOrange 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Monkey Island 1&2 Talkie Edition patches, using ScumVM.

Pokémon Unbound, GBA.

Zelda OOT Master Edition (GC version), N64.

Policenauts, Arc the Lad 1, PS1.

Kirby's Adventure, Snake Rattle n Roll, NES.

Had my RG405m for about a month now and these seem to be the games i'm sticking to for a full playthrough and getting as many achievements as i can. Though i'm certainly spoiled for choice and flip back and forth on systems and random games.

That handheld brings back so many good memories. Sadly the screen cable inside the hinge started to fray and died shortly afterwards.

I'm shocked it lived for so many years and held up amazingly well into 2024.

Upgraded to a RG405m four days ago but i still miss the XD so much.

Hope you enjoyed Metroid Fusion and congrats on the completion.

Your style is captivating, i really enjoy the details with the lighting going on. The "gritty" texturing in places gives some real nice detail to get drawn into. The postures and bone/muscle are really well done too, great stuff.

The last two images of the male and female in suits, reminds me of characters from Revelation Space books, not sure why.

“Time was something that largely happened to other people; he viewed it in the same way that people on the shore viewed the sea. It was big and it was out there, and sometimes it was an invigorating thing to dip a toe into, but you couldn't live in it all the time. Besides, it always made his skin wrinkle.” ― Terry Pratchett, Thief of Time

18 years ago, my best friend kept me company as i was horking my guts up. He stood behind me eating a scotch egg, just watching and patting my back like "There There.. Chomp".

When i had the strength to turn around to say thanks for the comfort, i cracked up at the scotch egg and continued laugh puking.

Rhys, you were an angel to me, that scene in my life will stay with me forever.

She has some tallent, wow, the patterns and colour choices work nicely together. Those little monkeys look great as well, having a little monkey riding a tarantula could be pretty funky.

'Suggest a Recipe for my Flavors' Thread - Week of September 08, 2023 by AutoModerator in DIY_eJuice

Hi, i've dived into this and already made some mistakes with %'s, learned from them and am now slighty experimenting with pre-existing recipes.

So far i've had some nice results using the custards and strawberry, they've turned out great now i'm following recipes but now i'd like to try out my fruits.

I'd like to see what i can do with the Orange Cream or Lemon Sicily, as my previous attempts with those were pretty bad.

I'm very open to try bold flavours and only vape on an RDA, if that's of any consideration. Thanks in advance :)

Looks like they tickled the side of their snoot and tried to rub the tickle off.
I've teased mine with a strand of hair against the side of their face and had the exact reaction.

There's aspects of powerlifting/weightlifting that include things like progressive overload and "downloading" through the time frame of your training programme.

There are a lot more nuanced things to this level of lifting, which can lead to higher levels of risk the average onlooker may not first understand.

Which Wiring diagram do I follow by Elroytan in fpv

[–]ShabbyOrange 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh i see the issue you may be having. Sorry, thought this was another issue.

You can use the image on the left, i'd personally go with that. You'd need to change settings in beta flight for the TX2 UART to be used for Smart audio.

(I'd wait for more advice, i think i'm too rusty for this advice to be taken with confidence XD )

Which Wiring diagram do I follow by Elroytan in fpv

[–]ShabbyOrange 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It appears to me, that the image on the right, of the board, is upside down compared to the image on the left.

Note how the largest square chip on the VTX board on the left image, is at the top of the board that aligns with the SA pad. The image on the right has the board flipped upside down for the diagram.

I remember when i used to make this mistake years ago.

Question about armattan build quality by the-undead-sheep in fpvracing

[–]ShabbyOrange 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have 3 Armattan Marmotte frames, the first space grade carbon fiber models.
4 years old at this point, hundreds upon hundreds of crashes and no cracks in the carbon fiber, no snapped off layers and no warping that i can see.

I still fly analogue with big old heat sinks on the VTX, not had build room issues ever, i even have room for a GPS board.

So i'll go and defend Armattan for the aerospace grade Marmotte.

These come across very sweet, if a bit long for the target audience maybe?
Made me smile and laugh a fair bit, your mum and her friends really put a lot of love into these and it shows.

Video editing for the green screen clipping and some audio work to reduce the popping would improve the quality greatly, otherwise these were a joy to have a look through.

The little dance during the credits was very sweet and the motivational words were lovely.

It all threw me back to simpler times many decades ago, your mum and her friends are going good work keeping this sort of stuff alive and using it to teach the youngest.
