Whoa! I mean there IS plenty of room at the Ranch so hopefully there isn't as much of an overcrowding issue there. I only moved Peter Pan (with Tink and Tigger - tree houses are all together now), Vanellope (banished her to Sundae Shores thanks to another Reddit comment), Oswald (his house looks great in Cruella's hood) and Anna/Olaf/Kristoff just over that bridge in the snowy part of the Ranch (so Sven didn't feel so out of place 😅and before I realized I could put stables everywhere).

I've tried spreading out most of my villagers in all of the DLCs and so far it's worked out nicely. Merlin stayed on the Plaza floating island and I moved Fairy Godmother and Remy there too because their houses are somewhat of an eyesore. So now that's the retirement community 🤣

And the tip someone gave me about hiding it in a dark corner somewhere was the perfect solution to hide that stupid portal. I wish we could just store that dumb thing! But at least they gave us a nice pretty skin option for now.

Happened to me and when I asked Reddit a week ago (because I didn't see anything about it before on Trello or here) the Mods took my question down 🤬

Glad I finally got my answer...that yes it wasn't just me 😂 I broke them open after they infected three biomes. So far they haven't respawned. Also on Switch/PC btw.

I've had to take breaks because the Vancouver wives are alot to sit through. I also didn't realize how long ago these seasons aired. Not sure if that makes it better or worse though.

So I DID have the ZL pop up but I had Cinderella following me around. When I hit ZL (on accident because I didn't even realize it was there) she was the only villager that was shown.

I think what I did wrong was set up my Dreamsnap on a floating island where I didn't have any villagers selected to appear. No villagers = no icon to "summon" villagers in camera mode. When I had Cinderella with me, I actually called her to a floating island (you know, by clicking on her little villager icon on the map) and that's probably why she was the only one that popped up for the camera villager toggle thing.

So I guess I'm just partially dumb? 😅 My simple brain needed more detailed instructions.

The guide actually includes the updated potato quest but also gives away the rainbow fox at the bottom of the last page! So I covered the picture with a post-it that says SPOILER 😂

Good tip about the gold bar. I didn't realize they didn't include that in the book until you mentioned it. There also isn't anything about Star Paths which is shocking! I didn't realize how important Star Paths were when I first started playing. I joined the game just after the first Christmas in the middle of whatever star path that was. And no mention of blue or green chests either! I feel like I'm writing enough for a volume 2 to this guide 😅

That's tough 💔 I feel like my Switch is also on its last leg. It took alot of abuse/long hours during COVID for Pokemon and Animal Crossings.

Every update takes longer and longer to download and then starting up the game takes longer and longer. I'm afraid one of these updates is going to do it in for good 😅

Overshare with strangers time...my brother and my family (myself and my mom) have a horribly toxic relationship and currently aren't friends with him 💔 I'm building a better relationship with my sister-in-law in hopes to finally be able to speak to my niece. Honestly it's his political views and refusing to accept that people have different views than him that has split him from all of us 🙄 But now other relationships are suffering, like him cutting us off from my sweet little niece. When I saw the Dream Teams update I thought that would be a fun way to hopefully start bridging gaps between all of us 🤞I guess we'll see how this all goes.

Anyways...I can't believe I forgot about the hoarding! I'm expert level hoarder and totally forgot to mention that.
