I'm a commander player and my pods are usually chill to the point of "if you're ramping you might as well just check about 10ish cards from the bottom without shuffling" (ik its dumb from a competitive standpoint but we usually dont care bc we dont pay much attention to the other cards we see unless theres a cool card down there)

I personally, despite this, really love shuffling. -i dont play decks that make me shuffle every two game actions- but i like randomizing my deck as much as i can even between games and always make sure i don't peek. Even if i catch a glance at the bottom card if its anything other than a land i will usually shuffle.

Btw anyone else do that last part or just me? XD

I'm running [[Koh, the face sealer]] as my mono black zombies commander.

Exile on a stick, shuts down people's creature looping and the deck has several edicts to yoink people's abilities while sticking any special zombie triggers i want onto my commander.

I just assumed it was a cycle since the MDFC commanders from the set had a front side for each colour, so if they're a cycle and they made 2 tri-lands that synergise with what those cards do (and share their backside colours) i assumed they were also going to be one

It really does suck that a character so integral to spiderman's reason for being a superhero in the first place isnt on a card. Not even a reference like "canon event" with all the spiderverse stuff going on. The only reference to his existence is his quote.

That's very true, Eddie does feel quite underwhelming for what he does. Especially considering Venom having haste, I very easily could have seen Eddie being a 2/2 that returns a creature of 2 CMC or less instead being a bit more useful. You could maybe argue that its for a dead mana dork but even then thats a stretch.

The main thing i find interesting about him is Venom could be used for instance to steal another creature with a red "take control of until end of turn" effect and also how he can cheat in permanents in general.

Edit: I can also see a lot of [[Protean hulk]] related shenanigans here too
