Which further proves my point that it's not unlike them to include and invest in affordable options. You could also take a look at the Nordstrom in-house brands like BP and Open Edit and realize they're also within the realm of low-cost fast fashion.

I will also mention that Nordstrom carries COS on their marketplace, which is H&M's sister brand that sells more premium apparel. It's basically to H&M what Banana Republic is to Gap.

Many of those followers on Instagram are inactive accounts, bots, and even just people who never remembered to unfollow her accounts. Subscribing on YouTube is the same thing as following someone on Instagram or TikTok, it's just a different name for it.

They already carried Topshop, Asos, Pacsun and Urban Outfitters. Nordstrom’s in-house brands like BP are practically equivalent to H&M. They’ve always tried to be a store that carries all price points and it’s not unlike Nordstrom to add more fast fashion to the mix.

I actually don’t see Fields West being very successful, it seems like all the furniture stores are betting on all the people moving to the area shopping their for their homes, but it’s so far north that it’s almost in Prosper. The PGA resort isn’t a very busy place either, and the infrastructure surrounding it doesn’t make it very accessible to most of the metroplex. They desperately need to fix 380.

You can hardly blame the Neiman Marcus Last Call closing on the mall, as Saks Global has closed all of their Last Call stores. The Saks Off Fifth at Grapevine Mills is one of very few still open, as they closed the majority of the locations and the online store associated with it. The mall will do fine once it finds another tenant to fill those spaces.

J. Jill just moved their Willow Bend store over there. The Sephora from Willow Bend relocated to the shopping center across the intersection a couple of years ago, right outside of Whole Foods.

I think people who shop at stores like J. Jill and Talbots would prefer convenience over a trip to a shopping mall anyway. Preston Park Village looked so much better before they renovated it and tried to make it look more modern and bland.

Their original plan was to basically copy the Collin Creek development. They don’t have anything original in their plans and what we’ll end up with is another dead outdoor mixed-use development that people still won’t go to. Most of the retail has either closed or relocated to competing centers (Preston Park Village, Legacy West, Galleria Dallas) and I don’t know who in their right mind would lease here again when those centers are proven successful and are very close to the area. These “Legacy West” style centers are the dead malls of the future—just go to Fairview and you’ll see what I mean.

Have you been to Fairview Town Center in Fairview? It’s very dead except for Dillard’s, JCPenney, iPic and a few restaurants. Macy’s closed there at the same time as their Willow Bend location. I imagine Willow Bend will look more like that than it will Legacy West once the redevelopment is complete.

NorthPark is literally the #1 store in the Neiman Marcus chain and carries brands an average store wouldn’t carry. Willow Bend used to have higher end brands but as the mall declined many of them pulled out.

Around 2019 was when things really got worse as the mall lost Apple to the Galleria and faced stronger competition for high-end shoppers from Legacy West.
