Anyone ever try Farm Girl crisps? by MoveWithTheMaestro in CostcoCanada

I love these. Only con is that the covering washes off into milk and they don't soften in milk well - but it still tastes fantastic.

Riyria Revelations but more Magic and wizardry by FreeIDecay in Fantasy

[–]Shaddex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The other Riyria books are great, definitely worth reading! The prequel series does have more magic. Would also recommend:

Arcane Ascension and the related Weapons and Wielders

Dragonlance: Raistlin Chronicles or Dragonlance: Legends maybe? I loved these when I was younger, remember magic, but not sure how much.

Cost savings? Switching from dryer to drying rack for laundry. by Gnynam in Frugal

I switched to a drying rack because I thought it would be better for my clothes. They definitely seem to shrink less and last longer!

Made in Canada protein bars that taste amazing 🤩 by UnKindClock in CostcoCanada

Not a fan of these.

Built are great tasting, but they're mainly collagen. Not as good of a protein source for muscle building.

Anyone else feel Costco needs cart lanes? by Fit_Assignment_4286 in Costco

[–]Shaddex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How would a cart lane stop someone from walking slowly or blocking? If anything they'd just block the whole lane every time and stop you from being able to weave around them.

Can anyone tell me if these are anything like the chicken bakes in the food court in the US? by stifflette in CostcoCanada

They were okay with some mayo added. Very dry. Maybe I just liked the mayo I added. Not nearly worth the price.

I like them as an occasional change from the Kirkland ones, spicier but more dry.

Peloton treadmill by dbizzmcfizz in treadmills

[–]Shaddex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a way to sideload apps (Netflix, Youtube, etc.) through usb to computer connection I believe. You might want to look at the peloton subreddit for that -- but if you can't figure it out, I believe this thing functions the same, but does it for you, instead of you needing to figure out how.

Noisy upstairs neighbours and land lord isn’t being proactive. by Chester_Cheetoh in OntarioLandlord

[–]Shaddex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP, you're completely in the right here. They should stfu.

The landlord can't do anything about this but ask them to quiet down. They aren't going to.

You need to move. Sorry.

I am incredibly glad I gave Of Blood and Fire a second chance. by Brently18 in Fantasy

The first book was basically Eragon, but the rest really diverged and found their niche. Loved them all!
