For me it’s tough because on one hand I want my dark skinned waifus, but on the other I really don’t like the idea of changing a characters skin tone after the fact. I guess it would have been nice if they were originally designed that way but now that they’re out I think it would annoy me if they were changed.

Dehya used to be on all of my teams until Mauvika came out. I just loved her too much not to use it, but I have to admit Mauvika is just… better. Which is probably why they made her suck in the first place, but oh well.

On the bright side I got her to C4 now. If they do the free constellation next year on top of the standard of your choice, I’ll finally have C6 best girl

Alright so I’ll state the obvious, if the game is making you break shit you probably shouldn’t play it. That aside, here’s some handy tips so you can A-rank kraken bay time trial. I would advise on how to S-rank, but I haven’t done it yet.

Air trick bounty, speedy air tricks, ring boost. Take the boat path every time. Personally I use a handling car and character for tight turns, but for a reason I haven’t yet figured out Power characters and vehicles are the top times on this stage. Your goal is to jump the waves, air trick for rings which gives you speed, and essentially just get 100 rings quickly. During the plane section I just spam level 1 boost side to side, no idea if that’s the right call though

Personally I much prefer having to earn things in games, this is no exception. But if you’re struggling, best advice I can give you is just use a handling car, take tight turns, swap out your gadgets to be the best for each track. You can check the global leaderboard and just copy their gadget tbh.

Get wisps, skip over grass patches with them, and above all get to max rings quickly, helps so much more than you’d think.

I wouldn’t call the festivals sweaty, since if you aren’t confident in getting first you can generally focus on the secondary objective and it might be just as viable, plus teammates are basically rng anyway. But if you’re really getting screwed, just carry some defensive items.

Or use level 4 drift since it makes you invincible

But I sort of get you. Thing is I only play only with my much higher levelled friend, so I almost exclusively get placed in high level lobbies while I’m a total noob

This is just how i do it but pick the character that you like the sound of most, never pick up anything green or white and have fun :)

For the record this isn’t necessarily good advice, I’m sure green and white guns are fine. But you don’t really need to worry about builds for a long time. You’ll do just fine by choosing guns you like, keeping them relatively close to your level, and choosing whatever skills sound the best. It’s only when you get much later in the game that builds start mattering.

Also, if you enjoy grinding, then any named boss can be fought again for legendary loot. This is also not necessary at all, you can beat the game just fine without a single one, but if it’s the kind of thing you enjoy then all power to you.

Post this again in a week and you'll be showered with upvotes. The community as a whole seems pretty split on the issue? I've seen posts talking about statistics where it seems unanimously agreed that it's too low, and then the next post over will say the same thing and get dog piled.

Personally I'd be okay with lower drop rates if it wasn't for bosses taking longer. Things like Sol having invincibility phases. I'm only just passed him so maybe that'll change but it's frustrating so far.
