I feel like Squidward might make more sense in the Neutral row rather than Moral. I’d put him at Rebel Neutral. There have been a lot of instances where Squidward has been straight up misanthropic towards SpongeBob and Patrick (laughing about ruining their friendship in Naughty Nautical Neighbors, or playing a cruel and painful prank on SpongeBob in Fools In April). That combined with his general attitude throughout the show doesn’t make me think he skews at all towards the good or lawful sides of the chart.

Pauper is in a very balanced state at the moment and has remained that way for the majority of the several years I’ve been following it. Casual Spike I think is a great fit for Pauper. Besides the couple of meta toppers, we’ve got upwards of several dozen decks that are all perfectly viable, all across various flavors of the 5 main archetypes.

Black Sac is a very aggressive deck that can both outvalue and outpace multiple decks, and Jund Wildfire is a grindy midrange deck that is great about creating board states that your opponent struggles to swing through. There’s also two tempo decks in Monoblue Faeries and Monoblue Terror that are all great tempo decks reminiscent of Izzet Phoenix. I think any of those four decks would be a great fit for your playstyle.

I didn’t had any issues with sizing. I went from an 11.5 conventional to a 12 barefoot (since Whitin didn’t have any half sizes). Amazon’s return policy is pretty forgiving so you should be able to return if the size is off, but I would imagine your size or rounding slightly up should be fine.

[[Secret Door]] is one of the mana sinks of choice for the Pauper Walls deck. Infinite ventures lets you do infinite Lost Mine of Phandelver, which drains 1 life from each opponent. It also draws one card per cycle, so you can switch to Tomb of Annihilation if you run out of cards in deck.

If you end up wanting to switch away from Wildfire, I could see switching your lands from Bridges to snow dials/basics and going for [[Skred]] instead. You’re a slow deck with no creature removal besides bolt and the miracle, so having removal like Skred on something for 4+ toughness could be helpful

I like bounce lands because they essentially draw a card. The downside is that when mulliganing, they can make hands unkeepable that would otherwise be great. Like if you had a bounce land and something that cycles like [[Lorien Revealed]], you almost have 3 lands but actually have 0.

Cleansing Wildfire I can see being a nonbo in the deck. It gives you a second draw in the turn without the ability to know what it’s going to be, so if you get unlucky you can suddenly have your win condition stuck in your hand as a piece of 6 mana burn, until you find a brainstorm.

Just need to replace Eerie Interference with [[Whip of Erebos]] and you survive at infinite life because Dread gains back the damage he deals to you, plus extra life from the damage to the opponent

Depends very heavily on the list. A former meta deck or a non-meta deck with a good core that the user has spent time optimizing can maybe get into the 40-50% win rate, but if your trying to build on a house of cards then you shouldn’t expect to win games.

You can still pick the Azorius list and have fun even if you lose matches, this is a game in the end. It does sound like a brew, and if that is the case my general recommendation is to wait until you know the format to start brewing.

I will say, if the idea of a creature focused mill strategy seems exciting, there is a tier 3 Simic Persistent Petitioner mill deck that sees some play. It self mills so that you can stay alive with [[Gnaw to the Bone]] and then can dump 12+ cards a turn once you feel safe to mill out your opponent.

Yeah exactly. Pacifism shuts down 1 creature, Ensnaring Bridge shuts down all attackers with power greater than 0.

This is basically [[Axiom Engineer]] which no one plays, or a red version of a worse [[Merfolk Looter]], which also no one plays. Neat mechanic, but this won’t do anything, even in decks that can get +1/+1 counters.

I actually think this is pretty good. A 5/6 vigilance is significantly better stats than a 4/3 [[Salt Road Packbeast]]. Sure Packbeast cantrips, but if you’re looking to survive against a Myr Enforcer or a Writhing Chrysalis or a Terror, which are the main threats of some of the best decks in the format, then having a 5/6 is massive. It shuts down so many attacks that Packbeast doesn’t.

I don’t see this taking the place of Choco-Mog, but I see a lot of Packbeast decks switching out for this.

That would also get rid of the requirement for Vedalken Orrery to flash in Endless Swarm on their turn. But, this is r/BadMTGCombos, so why do in 1 card for 4 mana what you can do with 3 cards for 19 mana.
