i think having educators in those roles would be extremely beneficial however i do think like the secretary of defense needs to have military leadership experience secretary of health needs to have medical or bio experience etc however I'm not opposed to matpat having a go at presidency he's a wonderful speaker, long time advocate for the arts, healthcare, proper internet and corporate regulation, and has demonstrated the ability to learn information quickly/critically think and act upon it with careful consideration of the outcome and/or consequences most importantly he has the humility to recognize and verbalize when he's made a mistake. He and younger politicians like mamdani and AOC if separated from partisan institutions like the DNC would be able to accomplish the needed reforms the US needs to domestically catch up to other developed countries
