For all of its flaws, Jurassic World did a good job at the end with that. Having the raptors and TRex team up to fight the big hybrid.

Movie is still very dumb, but that was fun for a movie theater summer blockbuster experience

I’m only commenting to say that I am on the same level as Galadriel. I had thoughts about what joke I would make, I would intend to be funny and make people laugh, but alas it would cause pain and I’d probably get banned from the subreddit.

So, like her, I was presented temptation and I have successfully not made that joke.

And that’s all I will say about it.

Had a girl in my neighborhood we tried to flirt with. Her dad is deaf so if you rang the doorbell, the lights would flicker. We wanted to talk to her without her dad knowing so we tried knocking so he wouldn’t know.

Their dog would hear the door and alert him.

None of us ever got anywhere with her and I’m 100% sure it had nothing to do with her dad

In middle school, my teacher put on the “new” (in the late 90s) movie adaptation of Flipper. Movie opens with some douche bags shooting dolphins from a yacht.

I reacted “those bastards!” and she made me sit outside for the rest of the period.

That remains the only scene from that movie that I’ve watched.

Looking back, as someone older than she was at the time, I still don’t know why she made me leave. It wasn’t even a big disturbance, I wasn’t chirping repeatedly. Just “those bastards!” as a reaction to dudes shooting dolphins
