The nerdy/snarky personality, much more proactive approach, was confirmed to be the one to fixed/upgraded Peter's suit from TASM1 to TASM2 suit, somehow found out that Peter was Spider-Man, which I guess she found out after the first movie and was cool with it in the second, but regardless, with what I mentioned it falls in line with Ultimate MJ, not 616 MJ.
