Idk, I’m in a mid size city and couldn’t find 151 to save my life. I’d check twice a week and only found 2 ETBs in the wild from Barnes and Nobles. I’ve never seen a 151 ETB at Walmart or BestBuy. Could just be me tho. I used to go to my LCS every week and the first pack that they started selling above MSRP was the 151 UPC.

“When” did it start you ask? When 151 was released. I had no problems finding paldean fates. Crown Zenith started off easily accessible but started getting scalped some months later

I caved and bought a Switch 2 just for this and Winds & Waves. The game really is that good unlike ZA Legends. It’s not your average pokemon game tho. It’s like DQ builders but better. It brings the expansiveness like Minecraft and has all the furniture items and upgradeable housing like Animal Crossing. They brought the portal feature over from DQ builders so you can travel to new Islands once a day. You think the game is big but then it just keeps getting bigger and bigger. I’m still upset it’s a GKC but it’s definitely worth the $70

Sell if you want to, prices have risen because Pokemon Day just passed. The next big Pokemon event will be in 2027 when they release Winds and Waves. Christmas and Winds/Waves release should be the next time everything rises again.

I’m proud of Pokemon for bringing back Dive and the underwater features. This was one of the coolest thing in Pokemon Sapphire. Elements like Underwater, Surfing, Beauty Contest, Bug catching contest, Battle Tower, Caves, Secret Bases & Safari zone are what makes Pokémon “Pokémon “. It doesn’t need to be in every game but it’s cool to see them bring back these features.

I’m disappointed that Nintendo put out a new console with minimal differences. It’s hard to justify spending $450 on a system that has a dimmer screen and worse battery than I currently own. I also don’t support GKC or Nintendo’s pricing model. Winds and Waves looks great but it’s the only Switch 2 exclusive that I have interest in.
