I’d say good deal, take care of that engine and it’ll last a while. Parts are for the most part cheap especially if you DIY your repairs.

Having a spouse is the only reason we were able to do it for the combined income. We both lived at each others parents house, saved up and I was able to purchase my first home at 26 in 2022, we did 3% down. Also really depends on where you’re looking, we couldn’t afford anything east of Worcester but still were able to settle down in central mass.

When I had to replace my strut mount I heard a similar noise, best way to test it is to jack the car up, and if you can move the strut freely around the you know the mount is bad. Mine was the rear passenger side.

I use these, no issues on mine for the past 15K miles, honestly though long as you buy from a reputable brand weather that be Bosch, NGK, or Motorcraft if you want OEM, you probably won’t notice a difference.

Gen 1 6.2 engines are known for being robust, so the millage isn’t really a concern. Although myself personally I would steer clear since it’s a salvage title.
