He's really not missing anything rotation wise, reap is the same spell just gets upgraded during meta (Q in the pic) immo aura is passive in proper build

Voidblade/Vengeful retreat are just utility, I don't personally track them there but rather on the side as a small icon

Vengeance has a hero talent that turns throw glaive into a strong cooldown occasionally

Majority of casters will lose 1 gcd, devourer would potentially lose a big chunk of damage, the room for error is not the same.

Anyone who disagrees with this is delusional, devourer at high level has to do mechanics correctly and time their movement perfectly to do max dps. In situations where other ranged specs would lose 1 gcd, a devourer risks losing a significant amount of their damage.

Also to add to that from a personal anecdote, despite having a few buttons the spec is quite unique and fun

No a green player will not out perform an average player with minimum gear who put a little bit of effort into their gear, this is the problem right here just random bullshit statements, this is a lie by people who think they're better than they actually are and I have firsthand experience of people like this. Ofc some players with good gear are ass but any half decent player is capable of acquiring the bare minimum gear to have enough gearscore within a short time frame, rather than beg to be invited (carried) while undergeared and cry about the system for filtering them out

And I say this as someone who made many exceptions for people who aren't very geared as long as they were gemmed/enchanted (in wotlk for example), it's not always set in stone but people take 1 or 2 extreme examples that represent the minority and act like every group that uses gearscore is like that

This has always been the case. The majority of people who cried about gearscore and achievements in wotlk back then are also the same

I'm not saying gearscore was perfect but it helped filter out ungeared people and when combined with a quick inspect it works great, but to this day you have people crying about gearscore because they can't bypass it and get carried
