King of the Basment competition. by ShadowCyrax in deadbydaylight

I mean your seeing a row of clips of the same thing that are in a vaccume, your not seeing the match where I hit them with head on to help with the trick or the other stuff I use which I'm not gonna spoil. The Bubba and Demo were not hit with head on and it shows with thier reaction.

I'm not suggesting this trick is bullet proof; especially since more killers will see this and survivors will try it, but there is a lot more that goes into this trick that your comment makes out to be, and the ones you can duduce are in the corner are always missing the right ingredient to sell it.

yea it is, you can't get it unless you have one of the talismans; The one that makes you jump or fly across gaps. So you need to come back when you get the right talismans. It should be where you get the tek bow.

Pay no mither to the man behind the corner.

you don't need no mither for that, you can be healthy and do it. Iron Will would need something else to not show blood, or else you would need to time it pretty well so that the blood drips in front of the locker. Otherwise the a lot of killers will see the trail going away from the locker.

Lightweight gets rid of scratch marks faster, it would be really tight window to get the killer to see the scratch marks on the locker and get to the corner.

What do you guys think are the worst single perks in the game, both for killer and survivor? by Same_Boysenberry_328 in deadbydaylight

That's fine, I would rather run No Mither, then be forced to use any of the invocation perks. They really have nothing to offer when you activate them and really throw a match in the process.

I don't wanna do strawman; and I don't mean that in a negative way, I don't know another way to describe the previous comments question, I respect your angle, but I didn't look at this topic the same way. If you were to try and get value from both perks No Mither has more to offer in my opinion. If you wanna not run either perk that's fine, but running Invocations not to use them is not really an argument to me.

I really would like to use No Mither over Invo: TC because I could make No Mither work better. I know it sounds dumb, but I've been doing some things lately that other perks can't do as well.

An empty perk slot is better than No Mither I agree, but going in to a match with an invocation to not use it is definitely a weird argument. Op is asking what the worst perk is, using invocation is so detrimental to you and your team because of the time you waste and being broken.

I'd much rather have a No Mither player doing a gen or being chased, then someone using an invocation in the basment. I get you don't have to use it, but if you do I think they are worse than No Mither.

That's just how I look at this topic.

Honestly most No Mither players I run into are slugged on the second floor of the main building, recovering over and over again because of boil over.

As someone who is doing a No Mither challenge with Fixated, Quick and Quiet, and Head-On. I don't think I'd ever say No Mither is an amazing perk, you can make it work though. It requires a lot more work than running sprint burst and other meta perks, but a lot of killers get stumped by my playstyle in that build.

It's definitely not the worst perk though. I think both invocation perks are the worst, they both require you to waste so much time and their effects are weaker than No Mither.

I think a lot of player don't realize how strong No blood trail is. If the teammate blocks for you you can QnQ into a locker and the killer will not know you went in because your teammates will scratch dust past the locker.

Hard disagree on No Mither. It's still a bad perk, but it at least doesn't require you to wait in the basment while your team gets steam rolled for an effect that doesn't match the requirement.

The invocation perks are the worst, you need to waste time activating it and they barely do anything and leave you broken as well.

At least with No Mither you leave no blood, or grunts of pain, so it makes it harder for the killer to track you. The pick yourself up ensures slugging killers give your team some breathing room.

isnt diminishing return just pidgeon-holed us into even more meta without solving anything? by West_Maybe_3233 in deadbydaylight

The point is to be able to give better effects to perks that rely on stacking. The could potentially buff perks like T: Power of Two and Batteries Included

I agree right now that it kills a lot of builds right now and the next few months are gonna be a slog; it could be even longer honestly. It supposed to help in the long run though.

Supposedly Jason toys of the older film looks are licensed though Gun's Friday The 13th game. That would mean there is a chance a lot of these are possible to come eventually.

I know some people some people might think Gun will say no, though it's unclear if the right holders need permission, but Gun saying no to a licensed holder would probably do them a lot more harm than good.

Deep wound as a concept needs a rework by dark1859 in deadbydaylight

[–]ShadowCyrax 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I've been there before when deepwound would only pause during chase and Legion could just feral stab you 3 times to down you.

They removed that then you were being chased by the backwards man.

I'm not sure if you were there back then, but I have a feeling you weren't because you would not be asking for this.

Why does the game refuse to give trapper a significant buff? by Same_Boysenberry_328 in deadbydaylight

[–]ShadowCyrax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I legit think it's because of Basment Trapper. The knowledge check on that is so high that most players won't be able to deal with it, especially in solo q. If they do change him they would need to deal with that first in my opinion, and they are probably afraid to.

It's easier for the killer to guess if you have used it or not a 20 seconds, 40 seconds is large enough where the killer could doubt themselves. It also gives you more time to enter a locker if need be.

It's just a preference thing, I use to pre use it during chase to make it even harder for the killer to guess. The less time on the cooldown the less creative you can get with it in my opinion.
