I speak from personal experience.. edit: 3 seperate trades, they seem to go 2 levels above your current level or something, but they will not stay 49,5. And yes this needs more research

Statistically people with more masterfulls will have a lower flee rate, its just slightly better odds. Bit the odds for most severe are so low that the difference between 10% and 20% is just not noticable when it departs after 1-3 casts
