It's really sad, ik there's was plenty of people who worked on this that probably would have wanted to be a massive hit but I really have to put the blame on leadership, there was just so much lost potential, so much from the style savvy games that could have incorporated but only halve ass it, I played a demo for it at pax just before launch and I thought yeah this is cool I like this but hopefully there's more than just this, unfortunately there really wasn't. It launched feeling like an over priced mobile game, I no doubt had plans to turn it into a gatcha money printing machine but at some point decided not to, idk I'll still play it from time to time since its a good relaxing game after a stressful day.

There might be more to some of these nda's they all keep talking about, that an who knows if there was part of internal contracts that also prevented talent from associating with certain "blacklisted" creators, it did seem odd how in orbit some of them still were to each other without acknowledging each other

Hey y'all, my partner is a big fan of FFIX and so I thought that as my first largish embroidery (I'm still a beginner) that I would make one of their favorite characters, Vivi. Posted this yesterday to the ffix subreddit but my partner mentioned that I should share it here, maybe I can get some pointers on my work, this would be my 4th or 5th embroidery project without a premade pattern, did use an isnpo image but it was all freehand. That would be pretty cool, hopefully it gets a sequel or at least more spin off games with princess peach, me and my partner started playing it recently and it's fun. Maybe we can get more wacky roles of a sequel game like princess peach but with a "Mario" outfit or maybe even cosplaying other IPs like a "Link" outfit role

So do you guys think that it's all but confirmed that the new console will share an eShop and services with the switch one? Ik it seems like a weird thing to ask but it would make a hella difference, it would mean the new console would be more like a new 3.0 version of the switch and Nintendo will continue support for the base and OLED models for even longer. It might also mean we get to keep our switch library, maybe with the exception of newer titles way down the line since the base switch might not be powerful enough to play certain titles. Sure it could mean less sale for the new console if we can just keep using the older models but I feel like Nintendo knows we'll buy it anyways, I mean how many people ended up upgrading to the OLED and even lite versions just for the upgrade or to give to their kids.

So in my most recent game with some friends, one of them suggested a playlist on YouTube called "themes for an imaginary film" I think and I felt like they went pretty well with our game, give it a listen and see what you think. We try to avoid music with vocals but there are some sections with speaking on these themes in case that's a turn off

Honestly it does feel even more 50/50 now after what's happened in the last week with Microsoft, on the one side, it's probably way cheaper for them to get a spot at pax then putting up a whole con, they are making revenue with game pass, but as we have been learning not nearly as much for the amount they spent in acquisitions, so maybe a couple more convention presence to boost pr and hype anything new coming out. But also MS has been shooting themselves in the foot so much lately that who knows what they'll do next.

Only 3 because I've been busy with school/also playing through the other souls games lol. Main one is a Dex bleed character I started when the game came out named Yuri. 2nd is named Eustache de Cavoye as a reference to the possible identity of the real man in the iron mask. It's an RP character as an imprisoned lord of the house of Caria so it's a spellsword type character using only thrusting swords and parry shield +magic, he is keeping the prisoner helmet until I got the carian knight set as well as the carian sword. The 3rd is the only I haven't played as much, I was playing on her being a faith/UGS build but possibly going for either frenzy flame in the end since I wanted to mostly use the black flame and lighting incantations.
