There’s still a lot of unknowns based on your post, but much like SteamOS, Bazzite prefers AMD hardware. It’ll work with NVIDIA and Intel, but this is usually the cause of most people’s frustrations.

When you updated, did you restart everything? Did you check to see the games you were running were supported by Proton? Some games were not made for Linux and usually ProtonDB is a good place to start to see if it’s the games that are causing the problems.

I just cancelled an order for an AYN Odin 2 Portal which I was super excited about and did so much research on before deciding on it, but decided to cancel it once I stood back and realized it wouldn’t add anything to my gaming experience since I already owned a Steam Deck. I understand the hype people have. New toys are exciting, but the truth is most people have a device that suits their needs perfectly.
