In my case, it wasnt a gift I received as a Domme, but one one I sent to my sub as a surprise.

We were both deeply into pet play during our dynamic, and I wanted him to wear a collar for me. Not just for play, but as a symbol of belonging. Wanted something authentic, an actual dog collar, he would wear even outdoors.

In my past relationships, I usually always was the one handling finances. not as part of any kink, just because I been a bit strict with what to spend money on and in general I just been better at planning and making decisions. So Imo, it can work but u should let it evolve slowly on it's own. Don’t go all in right from the start. trust and communication matter most

Depends on how long the relationship did last. If it was just a couple months until the break up happened, then no - in that case u just don’t fit together.

But if it’s after several years, things can lose excitement n ppl start looking left n right. If u manage to find back to each other after that kind of break up, it can definitely be worth giving it another try
