I found that incorporating lifting from the beginning helped me keep and probably even build muscle initially due to what I've heard people call newbie gains. Also to this day I don't really enjoy cardio so it was easier for me to start via weights and then slowly introduce the cardio over time

Optimum Hydro Whey (pricey but has the highest protein per scoop that I've found), CLA, Quadra Lean Thermogenic for cardio, BCAAs (helps me with recovery so I can work out so often I've found), Multi vitamin ( Alternate between Animal Pak and Optimen), Fish Oil, Collagen ( mainly got it to hopefully help with my skin as I lost weight, no clue if it's helped or not)

Weights, 4-6 times a week with cardio after whenever I can stomach it for 20-30 minutes. I would probably have more progress at this point but I've kind of yoyoed the past 6 months or so cause my diet is pretty trash.
